Friendship Friday

Something Old, Something New

The something old as I look back I thought I would share a post that never got posted.
It was wrote the day I injured my ankle before I realized how much trouble I really was in.
So glad to have moved past that part of my life.
Looking back makes me hurt all over yet shows me how far I actually have come.
The trails I faced were many and the mountain's climbed mush bigger than dreamed.
WOW!
My look back:

Something Old
August 23, 2012

Hello beautiful blog!
I'm going to try and come back and do some writing here. It has been a awhile. I had lost my desire. But I loved the way you made me feel. The way I could write and put my feeling out there. I could share my heart. I grew in skills that I didn't even know I had. I miss having fun here on the blog. Meeting all of you. Reading your wonderful blogs. Being a support to each one of you is the best. I couldn't think of anything more wonderful then sharing and meeting so many wonderful new friends from around the world. You have given more to me than words could express. You have been missed by me. I need to come back and do some writing. Thank you all for being patient with me. I look forward to getting back into the groove. it maybe a few more days even a week or so. As I twisted my ankle and well. I maybe in and out of the doctors a bit for a week or so. Hopeful not long. OUCH! Is all I can say. I guess you can say I do nothing in a small way. Love my walks but.. it appears I wont be doing much walking for awhile. Please keep me in your prayers it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My Twisted Ankle
Which turned out to be a broken ankle requiring  emergency surgery.
Two months in bed and then a slow process coming into a new normal which I'm still working on.

Have been having a hot Summer?

Something New:

Looking forward to new adventures and a new normal which I'm still learning.
But am excited to see what the future holds.
Back to working a few hours on Friday's
Which I'm loving!
Love doing hair, and making the ladies feel as beautiful as they are.
Looking into getting a styling stool to help with the healing and pressure on the ankle.
Though they are more than I have to purchase at the time.
So I look forward to seeing what God has in store for me.

Jeremiah 29:11

New International Version (NIV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

I'm looking forward to some hiking trips as I missed out on some this past Summer.
I'm looking forward to a celebration's in Dallas, Texas as Mary Kay celebrates 50 years in business.
That should be so FUN!
To living life to the fullest each day as I grow into the woman God has created me to be.
Finding the meaning in the word "Epic" that I feel the Lord has given me.
So much to look towards as I move into the something new.

What about you....Whats something old your leaving behind and something new your looking towards?

My Healing Ankle
Below is two fundraiser links to help with medical bills.
We have no medical insurance to cover medical.
As I have just started back to work there is still not much of an income.
I will not see a pay check until mid January.
I also am not working the jobs I once had as I am unable too.
I was also released from one of my jobs that paid a bulk of the bills.
Through much prayers and through encouragement of some friends they suggested I give these a try.
Though only two people have responded.
God has been faithful in other ways.
Medical bills are piling up.
Just the few that have arrived already are near $30,000 plus.
And still coming in.
God is faithful and I trust this is alp going to be paid in full;
and every need meet through Him
Thank you!
