This was taken at the look out view in the The Dalles Oregon.

My youngest daughter and her two children had drove up from Sacramento to surprise me.
It was a huge surprise!
So we drove over to see my sisters and show the kids where their mema had grown up and played as a child.
What a wonderful day of love and history of memories past and new ones made.
A perfect day!

Do you like to take your loved ones to places where you grew up?
Lovely photo and lovely memories of growing up. I think it's wonderful if you can take your grandchildren to where you were growing up.

Bethe I love going to the place where my mom grew up, we haven't been there since my grandfather passed as the house is no longer there but those memories are forever in my heart.
One day I am going to get to show Bob where I grew up and can't wait. to share those forever memories with him
