Well I missed Ash Wednesday on this one.

Last year I wrote Lent letters to our Lord.
This year I have decided to write at least five things daily down that I'm thankful for.
A bible verse with a prayer.
This is such a wonderful journey and time of self reflection.
I so enjoyed the letters last year.
But truly wanted to do something a bit different.

"I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way thous shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."
Lord, I am unworthy of all the kindnesses you have showered upon me in the past. Help me to trust you for what I need.
- That I have friends I can call late at night when in need
- For our public servants the police, fireman , EMT's and all that serve
- Hot chocolate
- God's constant love for me that is unchanging
- God's love and understanding of those hurting

ReplyDeleteBeth this is such a wondeful journey for Lent...would you mind if I use it as well? I may change it to 7 things a week for the 7 days in the week. Part of what I'm hoping to do for Lent is to cut back a bit on my 'online' journey and do more reading and praying.
