The demand in your voice
Rattled every fiber inside of me
As I sat in shock
Trying to navigate away
Again the the look of demand
Came across your crinkled face
As I began to stand
I turned my face
With each tear that streamed
Across the crinkles of a life time
I knew there had to be more
Than the hurt in each demand
With each look of pain
As we both navigated away
I wondered
Could the crinkle of this pain
Be repaired

Do you do you cry easy?
Beautiful my friend. Yes, I cry very easily, I am an extremely emotional person.
ReplyDeleteSo sad when love between two people ceases to be a joy and gives each more unhappiness than anything else.
ReplyDeleteI feel the pain in this.
Lovely writing.
My friend is going something similar like this with her husband. Words really hurt more than anything.
