Said Goodbye

Chocolate Kisses From Heaven

My Beautiful Little Girl

Beloved companion and friend for the past fifteen years;
To Beth, family and friends.
Kisses freely given!
Never need to ask,
Always ready to hand one great big lick out just because .......
You can!
You watched over and protected us all
You sat with me and held my secrets tight in your heart;
As you listened to all my stories with intent
Never letting one slip out
You never doubted for one minute that you were loved by all
You always knew we would be there for you
You knew you could count on us to meet each one of your needs
Biscuits for the joy you brought
All the balls you could chase all day long
Baskets of squeakie toys
A wardrobe of sweaters to keep you warm
And all of your basic needs and more
You were always up for the challenge
Whatever it was
The camera
Even when you didn't feel up too it
Even crazy costumes
That you would prefer not to wear
You greeted me with wagging tail and excitement
Big licks and smiles
With a bark to let me know
How much you loved us
Always willing to go on the next adventure and walk
Basking in the sun
Playing in the snow
Or just walking through the rain showers
Each day you gave more than any could ask
A devoted love you were
Loyal to the end with your sweet kisses of love
You sat with more human babies
Helped to make sure they knew how to play ball
And to run free
You NOW are free!
Free from all the pain and sickness
You are free to run and play with your brother Luke
At rainbow bridge until we meet again
It has been an honor to be your human mommy
Thank you Lord for the treasure you have given me in CK!
Run Free Run Free!
Until we meet again!
R.I.P. CK!
I love you!
My "BIG" Chocolate Dog!
You will be sorely missed

Both Running Free Together
At Rainbow Bridge Together Once Again

 Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

How do you say goodbye to a loyal friend?

Three Word Wednesday

Error;
noun: A mistake; the state or condition of being wrong in conduct or judgment.

Jingle; noun: A light ringing sound such as made by metal objects being shaken together; a short slogan, verse, or tune designed to be easily remembered, esp. as used in advertising; verb: Make or cause to make a light metallic ringing sound; (of writing) be full of alliteration or rhymes.

Vindicate; verb: Clear (someone) of blame or suspicion; show or prove to be right, reasonable, or justified

There is a jingle
That plays over and over each time
I make an error
It brings a vindication that
Vindicates my error

Do you have jingles that play over and over in your mind at times?
