Three Word Prompt Wednesday~

Crinkle; verb: form small creases or wrinkles in the surface of something, especially. the skin of the face as the result of a facial expression; cause (something) to make a crackling or rustling sound; noun: A wrinkle or crease on the surface of something.

Demand; noun: an insistent and peremptory request, made as if by right; verb: Ask authoritatively or brusquely.

Navigate; verb: Plan and direct the route or course of a ship, aircraft, or other form of transportation, esp. by using instruments or maps; find its way, esp. over a long distance; (of an animal or bird) find its way, especially over a long distance.

The demand in your voice
Rattled every fiber inside of me
As I sat in shock
Trying to navigate away
Again the the look of demand
Came across your crinkled face
As I began to stand
I turned my face
With each tear that streamed
Across the crinkles of a life time
I knew there had to be more
Than the hurt in each demand
With each look of pain
As we both navigated away
I wondered
Could the crinkle of this pain
Be repaired

~Beth~

Do you do you cry easy?

Lent Season ~ Thankful List/Verse With Prayer: Day 8

Today was work on my taxes day. I have committed to working on them at least two hours a day until I get them accomplished and ready to input into the program. I hate doing them and I hate even more sorting through old receipts and data. This isn't my favorite thing about owning my own business or preparing for tax season. Darn "Uncle Sam"! Personal I think he gets way to much of my money already. But the Lord does say give to Cesar what is Cesar's.
It was a wet rainy day here. CK played in and out the front door all day long while mom stood in the rain and she read the email's of all her doggie friends who have come by.

Thankful List Of Five

  1. Getting some of my paper work in order as I prepare for the tax season
  2. The late birthday present from my daughter. A 50 dollar spa treat. Thank you Heather, mom will truly enjoy this treat.
  3. Leaning on my Father in Heaven who loves me unconditionally, Knowing who holds my hand.
  4. Giggles and laughter with girlfriend's via Face Book
  5. Hot cream of wheat for breakfast with honey and milk

John 12:26

"If any man serve me, him will my Father honor."

Dear Lord, make me aware of the many opportunities about me to serve Christ and my fellowman.

Did you do anything special with your extra day this Leap Year?

Lent Season ~ Thankful List/Verse With Prayer: Day 7

This morning was a busy morning. Got up early to get started. This is the day that I work both home care giving jobs that I have. I do one in the morning, then when I'm done with that one; I head on over to the other one. I must say I applaud all those who are caregivers in anyway. It isn't my things. But I do it because I love them. I have one that Ive known since  my school days and the other I meet fourteen ears ago. I turned in my paperwork today to get payed. Then I headed home to hubby. It was is day off today. We talked about us going back to the gym. I think he is right it will be good for both of us. I have been craving sloppy Joe's so I made them for dinner this evening. Went and dropped in on a friend here in the apartments. He sure could use our prayers. He is going through a lot. I pray things turn around for him. It seems this is a day where my tears are flowing down my cheeks. I am so glad to know that God cherishes and holds our tears as treasured diamonds.

Thankful List Of Five

  2. Words of love that make you feel like a million plus.
  3. Homemade sloppy Joe's for dinner with chips
  4. God's guiding hand upon my life even when I don't deserve it
  5. The still quiet of the early morning and the evening hours.

Psalm 25:9

"The meek will He guide in judgement: and the meek will He teach His way."

Dear Heavenly Father, when I have failed through my own lack of wisdom, help me to rely on your unfaltering love and power.

Lent Season ~ Thankful List/Verse With Prayer: Day 6

Today was CK's Vet appointment. So it was an early morning for us. I like going and being one of the first appointments of the day. Since it is a 24 hour Vet's that means I can get up early and get in early. She loves going and seeing her Ms Carlie Sunshine. All the Vet tech's just love her. They really do take good care of my Ol' gal. Then we came home and hang out together for a bit. I then headed over to John's and did some light house keeping and picked up his laundry. I got that all  his laundry finished up and ready  for deliver tomorrow after I'm done working at my other care giving job.
Today really was a very pretty sunshine day. It was cold. But very beautiful with the Sunshine upon us as the clouds floated on by; with no storms in the horizon.
The day didn't go quite as I had planned; but it worked out just fine. Hubby BBQ'd us dinner and served us up a beautiful meal. Now  all that is Left is to clean up and get ready for tomorrow's adventures.

Thankful List Of Five

  1. For God's love shining upon us today through the sunshine
  2. Going for a short walk and paying some of my bills
  3. Finding God's blessings in the daily routine
  4. Thin mint Girl Scout cookies
  5. Just being held and cuddled while you watch TV

Psalm 50:15

"Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee."

Father, I want to live close enough to know that when I call, you will answer.

Did you have a busy Monday?

  6. I love classic movies. I enjoy a good movie marathon.
  7. I love to dance. I could dance all day doing my chores and activities.
  8. My mom is my Hero! she raised my brother and two sisters and myself by herself when it wasn't acceptable. And she still does amazing things. She volunteers in her community and is a wonderful example of living life fully
  9. I hate to exercise but love to go for walks and go hiking.
  10. I don't like being by myself
  11. I moved out on my own when I was still in high school and got my own apartment. And Yes! I did graduate. I was working full time as well.

Questions from Gina:

 1.  Do you drive a car or suv?

I drive a car. It is a Pontiac Grand Pre

 2.  What is your favorite passtime?

Gosh I never really thought about a favorite pass time. I enjoy so many
Things in the Winter it is mostly watching movies reading. In the
Summer I love to go walking hiking swimming; anything outdoors.

 3.  Do you frequent the mall?

I use to love going to the mall all the time. Not so much any more. I
have found other things that I would rather be doing than going to the
mall. Though I love to shop. So I have to be very careful when I go to the
mall. I could get into a lot of trouble there.

 4.  Do you still write letters (snail mail) or are they all email?

I do still write letters and send cards thought he snail mail. Not as much
as I use to with the price of stamps going up. But I do enjoy sending
Them out. Nothing better than a hand written note from someone that
loves and cares for you. When email first came out I used it a lot. Not so
much anymore especially with Face Book.

 5.  What kind weather are you most scared of?

I don't think I'm afraid of many weather systems. I have experienced many
of them. As I have lived all over the United States. But I think I would
have to say some of those thunder and lightening shows in Nebraska
scared the Hell out of me. I even once crawled in bed with my mom when
I was visiting. God sure puts on a beautiful light show there though.

 6.  In the state that you live...have you ever visited your state capital? if
       not why?

Yes I have! Many times in my life. I actually was there this past Spring
and early Summer. I would like to go back this year as well. I love the
      capital gardens there.

 7.  Have you ever been to the ocean?

Yes I have been to both the Pacific and Atlantic ocean. I also have swam
in both of them as well. I have had the pleasure of living near both at
one time or another in my life. I would love to go back to visit the Atlantic
      again.

 8.  What place in the world would you like to visit if given the chance?

There are so many wonderful and beautiful places in this world I would
love to travel to and see. Many here in our own country. But one place I
would truly love to go is the Vatican. That desire came about within the
last ten years. I think that place would be so cool to go see. And I also
would love to go walk the Del Rosa.

 9.   If you had to do it all over again what would you change?

You know I have been asked this question before. There is so many
things that I made mistakes and bad choices in. But.... as I look back and
      see who I am today. I couldn't change a thing. Then I wouldn't be who I
am. It has taken me a long time to like who I have become. So
absolutely nothing. My mistakes and bad choices have formed amazing
woman who has a wealth of knowledge and life experience's to share. God
has used them to glorify Himself.Who can fight that. So with that said... I
would say never walking away from my Lord and putting Him on a shelf
like I did. But again He used that too.

10.  What is your favorite movie(s) of all time?

I would say that would be "Gone With The Wind". I love that civil war
period and that era of history. Though I love history a lot. Then A close to
it would also be the "Sound Of Music". But I also really love the swash
buckler movie "Amber". I have so many I could choose from. Like I
stated I love movies and am a movie buff. I could add a host of more to
this list. It is very hard for me to pick a favorite on this. So many great
      classics.

11.  What  is your favorite season?

SUMMER! I think there should be one season and I pick SUMMER! Sadly
my favorotie holiday falls in Winter.

365 Days Of Pictures ~ Day 365

COMPLETION OF 365 DAYS OF PICTURES!

We have accomplished the 365 day of pictures!
It has been an amazing journey and learning experience.
Not only did I start the pictures shortly after I started blogging.
But it has helped me grow in my skills of photography.
I have found out how much I love taking photos besides writing.
Thinking I really do need a new camera and should consider taking some photo classes to learn more.

I have chosen CK as my finally picture for this journey and challenge that I have completed.
She has been a source of love and encouragement to me through the process.
Sounds funny that a pet would do that for you.
But she does.
I love taking photos of her;
She has been a great subject for me.
She keeps me on my toes with things to write about;
As well as taking photos of her.
As many of you know I wrote many stories about her.
Which we will continue to do.

I will start a new challenge soon.
Not sure what it will be.
I'd like it to be another one that challenges me in growing and using photos.
Will take any ideas and suggestions.

Thank you all for following along on this amazing growing journey with me.
I look forward to sharing the next journey with you all as well.

CK The Queen

Everything is strange looking to me and I think I will be having a difficult time posting for a bit. So please be patient with me while I try and figure this nightmare out.
Not to mention trying to find you all and read your post.
Hope you all aren't having the difficulties I am.
I am going to try and post my last two photos on my 365 challenge as well.
Praying all goes well.
