April Photo Challenge/Scripture Day 29~ Sunsets

COUNTING IT ALL JOY!

April 2019 Photo Challenge
Day 29~ Sunsets

Well....I was going to take a drive this evening to watch the sunset.
But I had oral surgery today and not feeling to good.
This was from last night.
Though I do have tons of beautiful sunsets.
And I have seen some spectacular sunsets throughout my life.
My favorites are at the beach or over the mountains.
Hard to pick.
They both offer a relaxing environment and such beauty.
Which is your favorite?

Psalm 65:8 New International Version (NIV)
8 The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders;
where morning dawns, where evening fades,
you call forth songs of joy.

U is for Unexpected

Life tosses curve balls
The unexpected
You can stand in awe
Or run like hell
But life is
The unexpected adventure
Waiting just around the corner
You can make plans or
Slide by the sit of your pants
You can cry and throw a tantrum
Or go for the ride of your life
The choice is always yours
The unexpected will always happen
And usually when you least expect it
You can take it as a challenge
Or be a victim
Life is what you make it
You can be the unexpected surprise in life
And show life what your truly made of
Do the unexpected
Be the miracle that shines
In a world of unexpected adventures
Be that unexpected shining light
That makes this world a brighter place
In this unexpected adventure through life

April Photo Challenge/Scripture Day 28~ Sunrise

COUNTING IT ALL JOY!

April 2019 Photo Challenge
Day 28~ Sunrise

Well...I didn't wake early enough to snap a photo of the sunrise.
No surprises there!
LOL
Though I do love them and I have taken them.
But do you think it was easy to find one.
Nope!
I went through tons of photos just to find this one from March 2015 in Rio Linda, California.
Guess I need to work on sunrises.
I sure do have tons of sunsets that's for sure.
No lacking in that one.
Do you prefer sunrises or sunsets?
I'm guessing I prefer sunsets since I have so many of them.

Psalm 113:3 New International Version (NIV)
3 From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,
the name of the Lord is to be praised.

April Photo Challenge/Scripture Day 27~ Keys

COUNTING IT ALL JOY!

April 2019 Photo Challenge
Day 27~ Keys

We have so many keys in life. Some help guide us.
Others unlock our dreams and hopes of the future.
The key that unlocks our heart to love.
Ummm.....wonder who has mine; and whose I have!?!
Spiritual keys to living a rich full godly life with our Lord and Savior in the kingdom of heaven.
Keys and more keys!
Keys to lock my house, start my car, keys to the safe, keys to all sorts of play toys, to roller skates, doors of all kinds, the list is endless.
And so are the unknown keys laying around in ones house and life.
No one key the same.
So many keys in ones life.
Some I have no clue any longer to what they unlock.
Wonder where they go and to what magical door they will open.
Guess I need to go find that secret door of life, love and the magic of today and tomorrow.
Do you know what all your keys go too?

Matthew 16:19 New International Version (NIV)

19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[a]bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[b] loosed in heaven.”

Day 26~ Tree

Blessed to live in the Great PNW where we have plenty of gorgeous trees everywhere you look.
I picked my beautiful tree and the dead one that needs to come down.
Yep!
It's needed to come down for two years now.
Sad!
I kept hoping it would make a comeback.
But it hasn't; nor do I think it will.
So thinking a flowering tree would look beautiful in its place.
And of course I would still have my shade tree on the other side.

Psalm 1:3 New International Version (NIV)

3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.

Saw these two painted rocks yesterday in a planter in Troutdale.
I thought of my daughter Amber Webber who likes skulls.

Left them there for someone to find and enjoy.
