Hospital

Taken when I was out for a walk the other day when the weather was beautiful and Spring like.

The rains have come.....though it is warmer than it has been.

It is starting to feel as though Spring may make it after all.

I love blue sky .... white puffy cloud days like this one.

It is a photo of the Hospital where I worked not so long ago.

They have taken down some fences so you have a much better view.

I sometimes miss not working there and wished I still did.

But I love doing what I do.

God provides the perfect work when needed.

Truly I am blessed.

It was funny being able to walk to work.

Though I didn't like walking late at night though.

Hubby did come and walk over to pick me up though.

Early morning walks to work I had to do on my own.

March 5 ~ Street

This was created from photos that were taken in Florida when I was there on vacation.

It was a grand time.

The large photo and the small one next to it is the Tampa Bridge crossing the bay.

What a wonderful week of traveling the streets in Florida it was too.

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

Lord, some says I feel weighted down by the routine. Help me now to rejoice in your presence.

Day 5

3 Gifts found

1. Inner strengthen that I sometimes forget that is there through our Lord and Savior. That I can do all things through Jesus who strengthens me! 

2. One of my pretty black scarfs that I forgot I had. I think I need to find an outfit to wear with it.

3. The clips to put down a portable hair dryer hood. I couldn't find the clip that made it go down. Then I looked in the hood and guess what the hood went down! YEA! So simple but so hidden. Thank goodness for portable hair dyers.

Candid Moments~ Gutters

Gutters

So exciting we are getting new gutters!

It is well over do!
We have had huge issues with the gutters for awhile now.

It is nice to see that they are replacing them.

The old ones had huge leaks that would cause gully washers.

The ferall spike nails were coming out.

I was so weird one would fall and hit our vehicles.

I even love the new color of the new gutters!

These young men working hard and replacing the gutters.

I thought they were doing a great job!

This was there second building today.

They started and finished up out building then started and I believe finished up the neighbors as well.

Looks like quite a job undertaking.

Not really sure how they got those long pieces of gutter up there.

All they had were short little ladders and I believe there was only three of them working.

Lots of hammering going on today!

That new gutter sure does look nice!

So nice to have new gutters.

It has been a very unusual day.

I went to work to turn around and head home.

There was questions about clients.

Asking if I would lower my prices.

I cannot get them any lower and live.

Thank you Lord that I am worthy of hire and the money paid.

So today I worked on taxes.

Then did some praying.

1. Not having any work at the nursing home salon today. And that they thought I should cut my prices....... Thankful to be a blessing to each one.

2. Working on my taxes have four months done.

3. That through the tears and through the storm comes VICTORY! Even when I cannot see it!

March 3 ~ Art
These photos of these beautiful pieces of art work were taken on my vacation to Florida in December.
My girlfriend Crystal to me to the Ringling Museum.
Oh the art was magnificent.
This is such a small glimpse of what I saw and the photos I took.
If you ever get a chance to go there.....please do.
So rich in history.
He collected art and many pieces had to be restored. Quite the history on all of it.
Some was in dis repair..
But boy what a collection!

!. My Dansko shoes.....my feet feel so much better than they use too and helps with support of my ankle. Love these shoes...even though they aren't the cutest ones in town.
2. My jeans and pink sparkle sweatshirt! Feeling sparkle today I am!
3. My smile.....My grandma always said it takes less muscles to smile then it did to frown. I always think about that and how grandma got me to smile when I was frowning. I miss her. I know she is smiling down upon us.

So today when I left the house it was raining on this second day of March.

With rain puddles everywhere.

Making magic mirrors of beauty with the splashing of the rain drops.

I was actual hoping for these yesterday.

But still enjoyed them today.

It made today's decision easy.

Out with hubby for brunch;

Then home to watch a movie and be cozy warm.

So I wasn't sure what I was going to watch.

I have enough movies to select from.

Plus checking out what was on the TV.

But ended up watching a movie on my computer on YouTube.

It was an excellent movie.

This was my post on Face Book after watching it today:

"Beautiful story of love friendship, courage, and hope and Gods amazing grace! WOW! Watched this on my Computer today! All I can say is WOW! With tears running down my face! We can make such a huge difference in life's of others. Even in our darkest moments. If you have the time worth the time to watch!"

So it was great having the left over popcorn from the movie house yesterday.

As I had some today while watching the movie.

If you have time I say watch it!

It was about an hour and forty minutes.

March 2 ~ Lunch

Today was not going to be a lunch for me but ...brunch

As hubby took me out for brunch after his early morning meeting and work out.

It would have been after church had I made it to service.

But I must have needed to the sleep.

I slept until after nine this morning.

I meet him up at one of his favorite hunts.

Puff's Pub

They serve a ton of food and a great meal...

Whether it is breakfast or lunch.

Sundays to me are always a brunch anyways.

As you see we had meals fit for a King!

I had a taco omelet and he had a burrito

plus the pancakes and drinks.

Enough to bring home leftovers.

"As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. "

Lord, help me accept the Kingdom offered me, even if it means a different way of thinking, a different way of living.

1. The green grass and the green buds coming out on the trees from all the rain getting ready for Spring to bloom

2. My green blouse and sweater I found while cleaning today and putting some things away. I know have my green picked out for Saint Patricks Day!

Postman

One of my favorite things to do in the day is go get my mail.
It is a great little walk for me too.
As I have to walk about a block and half up then back.
This postman isn't the friendliest of sorts.
I have had some postmen that were just wonderful and friendly.
One postman was a friend of ours.
 He always honked to say hello when he came up to the mail box!
I would wave or come on out and he would hand deliver with a smile.
He also did business with me at Christmas time.
I miss his friendly smile!
So I'm sure this postman isn't the most poplar guy on the block;
As he seems to have lost his smile.
I try to share mine....
Though he doesn't seem a bit interested.
He barely grunts when you say hello!
Rather sad actual!
He never seems to make it at the same time of day either.

But ....no matter I love going to get the mail.
I love going to see what is in the box.
Usually lots of bills!
Not really sure why?
Maybe because it makes me feel wanted and loved?!?
Not really....
But....you never know when there might be that one thing that makes your day inside that mail box.
I always am anticipating something good will be delivered.

Maybe a package.....?
A large sum of money!!!!!
A girl can dream cannot she?
Usual it is large slice of my money pie that someone is after.
I'm sure none of you have that problem!
Then their is all this mail to occupant.
I sure wish I knew who that person was.
They are so very poplar indeed.
Then there is the general junk mail listed to me.
Someone always waning me to apply for some credit.
Then we have the magazines that I flip through.
Then there is always a little note from a friend or loved one.
My treasures handwritten mail
I love those ones!
They don't seem to come as often anymore with the age of social media.
But ....every now and then one will trickle through the mail and put a smile as big as Texas on my face!
Oh so many goodies come to us in the mail box.
I guess that is why I love going and getting the mail
At least we know that someone cares or wants something from us.
The box that brings so many surprises!

I was so excited to go the movies with my girlfriend today.

Puddles

Was thankful for the rain today so I was able to get some snaps of some puddles.

I was actual hoping for some gully washer;

So I could get some really awesome ones.

But ....it didn't rain as hard as they said it was going too.

Though i did find some pretty cool puddles around the complex to capture.

Some in the driveway and a couple on the road.

3. Thankful for the napkins Edie Ricker Cowell grabbed for us to use for our snacks; came in handy when I was crying. Thank you Edie!
