Quiet
The still quiet of the morning
The quietness of a lazy afternoon
The quiet before bed
Are just a few of my favorite quiet times
But I think the best quiet is when
I get quiet before the Lord
I stop and listen
For the small still voice
That speaks softly to me
In His perfect will and love for me
Knowing He has my best interest at heart
Living my life in such away that it honors Him
As well as those I love
Quiet brings a peace
The peace that comes within
That brings such comfort
That even in the storms of life
My being has a quiet stillness of peace within
Knowing all things will work together
For His good and His glory
In heaven
I love going to quiet places
By still waters
On a mountain top
Under a shady tree
Listening to the quietness
That surrounds me
There are so many wonderful places to go
Even quiet places to learn
A library
A study hall
Are just a couple that
Come to mind
It seems that
Quietness brings
Much joy and happiness
To a overwhelmed
Soul
So be still
Get quiet and bring
Some peace and balance
Into your world

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before. 12 Then people who are not Christians will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others.
What is your favorite quiet time?

Ankle View April 12,2013 |
Below are two fundraiser links to help with medical bills.
We have no medical insurance to cover medical.
As the weeks have gone by since I have started back to work
The ankle continues to have many issues
The cost of second opinion is much more than I realized
Doctor has discounted my pain meds
Many issues
Needing God's direction
With many prayers
I feel God is showing us
The direction to go.
God is faithful and I trust this is going to be paid in full;
and every need meet through Him
Thank you!

Praying for you.
Quiet is a great word. I love quiet, solitude. Some people have to have noise about them, not me. I will keep your healing ankle in my prayers...
I love this. I love just moments of solitude and peace.
I love this one Beth. Quiet, peace and quiet, stillness ... all so important and sometimes something that we need to consciously seek out.
"Be still and know that I am your Lord."
Hugs,
Kathy M.
