Challenge From FB Color Poem~ Green

EASY CHALLENGE: COLOR POEM
Write an original poem or prose about your favorite color. You may use any poetic or prose form.
Express your feelings about a single color with metaphors, similes, or list nouns which are (or remind you of) that color.
Another easy way to address this is to use the 5 senses: Looks like, Smells like, Sounds like, Feels Like, Tastes like.
See the following links for more information or examples of Color Poems:

Green

As the sunrises
With whispers of
Laughter
I search for that perfect shade of green
The one that will match
The green eggs and ham
Or the
Tall frosty green beer
That I will have later
With my corn beef and cabbage
No
 I think I’d rather
My green
Match that green laughter
Of fun as we all
Shout and dance
To the
River dance
Or maybe that perfect shade
Of green is the one
The little green lepercan wears
As I run after him
Chasing that pot of gold
As he plays hide and seek
Headed to the rainbow
Where the pot of gold lays
On this
St.Patty’s Day
I will wear my green proud
With eyes of hazel dancing
With glitter and laughter
Painted in shades of green
No stranger do I know
For all are in my pot of gold
Celebrating this day

~Beth~

Do you do anything special for St. Patty's Day? A dinner? Or family event?

Ankle
March 5, 2013

Below are two fundraiser links to help with medical bills.
We have no medical insurance to cover medical.
As the weeks have gone by since I have started back to work
The ankle continues to have many issues
I will be seeking second opinion
With many prayers
I feel God is showing us
The direction to go.
God is faithful and I trust this is going to be paid in full;
and every need meet through Him
Thank you!

Greenday On Raindrops & Daisies

It is green day over at Raindrops and Daisies.
Time to join in on the fun once again.
Even with my weeks all meshed together.
It is always fun to jump on over and have some fun at Raindrops and Daisies on Green Friday.
With limited photos and green.
I am once again in search of something green.
I am having to get a bit creative for this hop.
I am now able to adventure a little away from the couch; not much but at least I'm not on total rest any longer.
So it will be fun to see what I come up with once again.

Me On First Outing
At Vista Point
Columbia Gorge Scenic Hwy

Multnomah Falls

The pool below the Falls
I use to swim  in that pool.
Though now that is shut off to the public for safety.
Boy how times change.

A little outing on Labor day with my neighbor Pat.
First big outing since the surgery on my ankle.
I was so excited!
And blessed beyond words.
What a beautiful day it was too.
Oh I so enjoyed being out in the sunshine and fresh air.
The day went by much too fast.
This beautiful place is about 15 minutes down the freeway from my home.
A bit of Paradise right in my own backyard.

Do you have a slice of Paradise near your home?

Re-Learning
Below is two fundraiser links to help through this four months of recovery and medical bills. As I carried half the bills through my work.
We have no medical insurance to cover medical.
We are in the process of applying for help.
Through much prayers and through encouragement of some friends they suggested I give these a try.
Medical bills are piling up.
Just the few that have arrived already are near $30,000.
And still coming in.
God is faithful and I trust this is alp going to be paid in full;
and every need meet through Him
Thank you!

Greenday On Raindrops & Daisies

It has been a couple weeks since I joined in on green day over at Raindrops and Daisies.
My weeks are all meshed together.
But here we are on Green Friday once again.
With limited photos and green.
I am once again in search of something green.
I am having to get a bit creative for this hop.
I am now able to adventure a little away from the couch; not much but at least I'm not on total rest any longer.

Meet Hancho my Quaker bird.
She is a beautiful hues of greens.
You really cannot see all of her beauty in this photo.
She is very hard to snap a photo of.
She is a chatty thing.
She really is dear hubby's bird.
When we got her, she original was for me.
Well........
She fancied dear hubby over me and really doesn't have much to do with me except to annoy me.
Though I must say since the accident with the ankle she has given me company and laughter.

Hancho

Do you have any thing special going on for the long weekend?

It is once again green day over at Raindrops and Daisies.
My how the week has gone by.
With limited photos and green.
I am once again in search of something green.
I am having to get a bit creative for this hop.
Though I am getting closer from getting away from the couch.
So it will be fun to see what I come up with once again.

So this past week I found some apps for the camera and was playing with them.
So I came up with this photo of my foot up in the air with the green hues that I put into it.
Like I said I have had to get a bit creative.
I do have some other ideas as well for green Friday.
I am mending
Two more weeks and I head back to the doctor to see what the next step will be in my recovery;
so I can get to walking and on with my life.

Resting High
Do you have big adventures this weekend?

Greenday On Raindrops & Daisies

Love going over to Raindrops and Daisies and I know you will too.
Though I haven't blogged in a while I'm jumping in with my one good foot. Sitting and laying here. I have found how much I miss expressing myself here on my blog and visiting those I love and their blogs.
So it appears it is green day over at Raindrops and Daisies,
so I thought I would join in even with my limited photos. I did find one I had posted a while back on Face Book.
I had come along this fun little site while on a walk in the neighborhood. Thought how fun and clever of some of the neighborhood kids. It as well made such a fun photo. Put a smile on my face. With fantasy dancing in my head of childhood fun of days gone by.
I found this site in late Spring early Summer. Which I can tell you is now long gone. Shortly after coming across it; a few days later someone had removed it.
Some of the sites and finds I will miss out on during this recovery time. So I will enjoy journeying through all of your blogs and photos as I dream of being inside each one of them as I travel through blog world enjoying the finds you have to share with us all.
I hoping in this time in recovery and healing I will find some way to take some photos to share as well.

Window of Childhood Dreams
What exciting green finds have you found in unwrapping of your journeys this week?

Come link up with Raindrops and Daisies.
