Day 25~ Happiness is getting help today at work that made my load so much lighter and easier. A great big thank you to Shelly for helping me in short stay! What a blessing she was. Happiness is having co-workers that go the extra mile! Happiness is getting off a half hour early. Love it! Happiness is getting some of my hair products for the salons. this week. Happiness is getting some bills wrote out. Happiness is a nice warm sweater to keep the chill off my arms. Happiness is finding out we no longer have anything in hock! YEA! Happiness is yet another day the Lord has blessed me with.

What about you.... what made you happy today?

Day 26~ Happiness is falling asleep early and sleeping late. Happiness is my late start to the day and still getting lots done. Happiness is knowing all the money spent today is nothing compared to what my Father has in store for me. Happiness is finding my gray slack today. Happiness is finding bargains. everywhere I went. Happiness is making a meal hubby actually really enjoyed tonight. Happiness is a full week of many blessings yet to be discovered. Happiness is receiving a phone call from my daughter Nick Racheal Perry! Made me so extremely happy! Happiness is rejoicing in each moment of each day!

Day 27~ Happiness is having a little later shift at the hospital. Happiness is having one of the patients ask me if I want to have a race with him today. Him and his walker and me and my cleaning cart. I think he would win! Made him smile. Happiness is being told I did a great job and that I'm a very hard worker. Happiness is a day that goes by quickly at work. Happiness is knowing you are doing your best. Happiness is working with a great nursing staff and other co-workers as well. Happiness is knowing your best friend in the world is always there for you and will listen. Happiness is getting the laundry done. Happiness is the that wonderful hot shower after a long day of work. Happiness is resting on the couch with foot propped up.

Day 28~ Happiness is making it through yet another work day. Happiness is paying less for rent at the salon then I was told! Thank you Jesus for your divine favor. Happiness is the blessing of working for Shari Whitlock and working with Jan Flynn. I will miss your ladies Shari and miss working with you Jan. It truly has been a fun! But....truly am happy with my decision. Happiness is hearing from my beautiful daughter Amber Webber! Happiness is seeing how God moves in our favor daily. Happiness is letting go of the old to make room for the new. Happiness is watching the squirrels and birds in the yard. Happiness is God's grace and love for me.

Day 29~ Happiness is yet another full day of making ladies and gents look and feel great! Happiness is celebration of hubby's birthday! Happiness is Good Friday the day our Lord took and bore the sins of the world so we might have life and life more abundantly. Happiness is the beautiful sunshine and the rays coming through my windshield as I drove home from work today. Happiness is it is Friday and I don't have to work tomorrow (I pray!) Happiness is talking with my friend Rose in Sacramento. Happiness is the birds chirping and singing in the early evening as the search for their diner. Happiness is looking at the photos on Instagram my oldest daughter Heather posted of her vacation in Santa Cruz with the kiddo's. Wish I could have been there! FUN! Happiness is the joy of each smile I have collected today on my journey. Happiness is my sweater wrapped around me to keep me warm. Happiness is the love that is given me daily by so many. I love you all thank you! ♥ Happiness is answered prayers.

Day 30~ Happiness is sleeping way past ten in the morning. Happiness is pot of coffee waiting for me when I awake. Happiness is a nice hot shower. Happiness is getting the rest of my Easter dinner at the market. Happiness is talking on the phone to my friend Sally Mazza. Happiness is a phone call from mom and the laugh and giggles she gives me. I'm so thankful I still have my mother! Thank you Lord! Happiness is going to the Easter play at East Hill with my neighbor Pat Holzbach. Thank you! How powerful it was! Your nephew did awesome in his part! ♥ Happiness is coming home and hubby having dinner ready for me. Happiness is celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior! Happiness is seeing lives changed. Happiness is God's grace upon my life and those I love. Thank you Lord!

Day 31~ Happiness is Resurrection Sunday the day our Lord and Savior broke the curse of death so we might have everlasting life with Him! Happiness is Easter breakfast after Easter service. Happiness is the quietness of my home when the TV isn't on. Happiness is singing His praises in Worship to Him who first loved me. Happiness is a yummy ham dinner and all the trimmings. Happiness is the beautiful sunshine that is casting through the living room window. Happiness is all the beautiful Easter wishes.

25~ A gift sung, written, painted

Okay this isn't going to be easy today!

The sung gift would be Praises to my Lord! But I think more fitting for me today would be the sung praise of the help from my co-worker Shelly today! The song would be "Forever and ever Amen!" By Randy Travis

Written would be all the work that needed to be accomplished today at work. We have a sheet we follow for each floor plus all the rooms that need to be cleaned. 

Painted would be the beautiful paintings through the hospital that are hung on the walls throughout the building.

26~ 3 Gifts almost gone

I was thinking about this and I really thought I would have a tough time with it. In reality I don't think so. As there are so many gifts that we are blessed with yet are gone o quickly.

1) The month of March is almost gone along with it with much pray is Winter I pray springing right into Spring and the showers that will bring all the flowers.

2) The work I have been doing out at Clackmas for my wonderful friend Shari Whitlock is coming to a close. It is bitter sweet. I have come to enjoy and love all the ladies there so very much. I have enjoyed filling in for Shari and working with

Jan Flynn. But.....my time is done and time to move on. This is a very hard goodbye as there is so much more involved. So all my prayer partners please keep these ladies and the shop in your prayers thank you.

3) This Tuesday is almost gone. A day I was blessed with and will never have again. So as it closes I'm so grateful and thankful for all the many blessing this day has held and all the love that I have been blessed with this day. A day I pray is always giving honor to the One that blessed me yet with another day!

31~ A Gift heard, Held, Hoped for

A gift heard would be the message of the Risen Savior and how much He loved us that He sent His only son to die on a cross for me and rose three days later that we might have eternal life with Him.

Held would be the Hope that I have in Him and His promises that I hold dearly to my heart.

Hoped for would be all those I love would know the eternal love of our Lord and Savior and what He did for us.

Playdates With God~ Happiness is/Joy Dare

Day 18~ Happiness is getting up and making my morning phone calls and setting up appointments. Happiness is calling my dad and wishing him a very happy birthday! Callings and wishing my girlfriend Sally Mazza a very happy birthday as well. Lots of people of love to celebrate. Nothing better than the day the Lord blessed us with them. Happiness is getting through tons of paper work and through even more out plus shredding. That always feels so very good. Nice way to start a week as well. Happiness is getting many little projects out of the way so I wont be so over whelmed as the week moves on. Happiness is breaks of sunshine throughout the day.

 

Day 19~ Happiness is getting up and getting my day started. Getting some errands out of the way. Happiness is dropping off information at the new beauty shop where I will be doing hair in a nursing home starting in April! So excited! Thank you Shari Whitlock for referring me. Happiness is knowing my granddaughter is getting better everyday. Happiness is getting the dinner in the oven. Happiness is window shopping and never pulling out my wallet and resisting the temptation to purchase some Spring clothing. Happiness is finding some beauty in the court yard today when taking my walk. Happiness is seeing the small signs of Spring all over. Happiness is Thanking the Lord for every gift small and great!

Day 20~ Happiness is getting more information on up coming business adventure and preparing for it so I will have everything in place. Happiness is morning coffee served to me just the way I like in my PJ's. Happiness is getting my Mary Kay orders together for deliver and mailing. Love my Mary Kay business can work right from home and wake to orders in the morning. What can be better! Happiness is visiting with Mary McCormick Loomis via the internet this morning. Great way to start the day. Happiness is watching the down fall of the first spring rain this morning on the first day of Spring. Happiness is not having to cook today. Happiness is the little things that make a difference each day in my life.

Day 21~ Happiness is celebrating the birth of my oldest grandson today! Happiness is celebrating the day the Lord blessed me with my friend Rosalie Reinhold! Happy birthday to both Rosalie and my grandson Anthony DeSouza! Happiness is the strength the Lord gives me everyday and extra on those days I really need it. Happiness is going out to dinner. Happiness is knowing that peaceful feeling that goes deep within. Happiness is being confident in my decision and knowing it is the right one for me. Happiness is watch the Castle from Monday night on DVR. Happiness is having DVR. Happiness is making it through yet another day. Thank you Lord!

Day 22~ Happiness is it is Friday an

d the weekend is upon us. Happiness is getting my work done by early afternoon. Happiness is getting my banking and shopping done early today. Happiness is finding some cute clothes on the rack at a good bargain. Happiness is Katherine Huston Fischercoming to spend a few days with us. Happiness is a good dinner with a group effort. Happiness is the sunshine that kept breaking through the clouds today. Happiness is my cozy sweats.

Day 23~ Happiness is quiet days lone resting and thinking. Happiness is styling my new hair cut. Happiness is Finding golden oak stain and fixing my coffee table. Happiness is a light lunch with a glass of water. Happiness is the back brace hubby brought home for me. Happiness is Another day to seek the Lord and His will. Happiness is the breaks of sunshine in the afternoon as I walk to Bi-Mart.

Day 24~ Happiness is going out and having coffee with Katherine Huston Fischer at Happy Espresso today to see Kenney Ge. Happiness is the scenic route enjoying the country beauty all around that God has blessed us

I started laughing when I saw what today's was. I love to eat.

1) I could cover all three in one. Today I had three different types of tacos from taco bell. The tree different tacos I had were supreme taco, regular taco, and a dorito taco. But what was really cool is that I brought them home to eat and added homemade salsa to them. Made them really yummy! I'm normally not a taco bell fan. But...this was a great meal.

2) The thin mint girl scout cookies. One of my favorite's!

3) My chicken baked dinner with carrots and potatoes.

My salty gift would be the Pork Rinds my hubby brought home this evening and we snacked on.

Sweet would be the chocolate cake I ate today at lunch in the celebration of Ned who turned 100 today! So many birthdays today! Happy Birthday Ned!

Just right would be the tea I had with my dinner this evening. So relaxing and comforting. Just perfect!

Day 11~ Happiness is the day the Lord blessed us with my daughter Nick Racheal Perry. Happy Birthday to my baby who is amazing! Happiness is surprising her with flowers today! Happiness is knowing I have a bank and lawyer that are working in my behalf. Happiness is the amazing women in Mary Kay that I have the privilege of working along side of. What a wonderful company to be apart of. Happiness is the choice of being happy and finding the good in every day.

What happiness have you found today?

Day 12~ Happiness is meeting and having coffee with Shari Whitlock and meeting her friend at her shop. Thank you Shari! Thank Melody for the amazing blessing of the salon. Happiness is speaking with the Attorney and the positive feed back from him. Happiness is speaking with banker and understanding the process of some of the money finance's that we are dealing with. Happiness is speaking to my friends far and near and sharing my joyful news. Happiness is having open doors and windows of opportunities. Happiness is having an open heart to God's blessings.

Day 13~ Happiness is having a box of kleenex near by. Happiness is the new Pope that was chosen for the Catholic church. Happiness is knowing that God hears our prayers. Happiness is resting in Him and His healing hand.

Day 14~ Happiness is making it through a whole days worth of work; even though I didn't feel well. God is faithful and answers the prayers to carry me through to the end of the day. Day 15~ Happiness is watching the older ladies in video's dancing and cutting it up as they dance through life. Great video's on Youtube. Happiness is being able to pray for those in need at work. Happiness is eagerly waiting and watching what God does for me each and everyday. Happiness is getting grocery shopping done for the next week. Happiness is getting my brisket and all the trimmings for St. Patty's dinner on Sunday! Happiness is resting and healing from this cold/virus. Happiness is talking to my grandchildren on the phone. It makes my day!

Day 16~ Happiness is working on my taxes. Or at least making head way with them anyways. Happiness is putting together Mary Kay orders to be delivered this week. Happiness is resting so I can be healed from this nasty virus that just lingers. Happiness is having a nice dinner with hubby. Happiness is knowing God hold me in His loving care.

Day 17~ Happiness is the chirping of the birds in the rafters above my bedroom window that awake me every morning. Happiness is singing praises to the Lord in church this morning. Happiness is a quiet afternoon catching up and praying with my dear and treasured friend Crystal N Koch. I'm so thankful we have a friendship that has stretched the miles and years. That I can still share my heart and know you will love me. Thank you! Happiness is taking a walk before the rain came today. Happiness is seeing Spring spring forth all around me. Happiness is having so many treasured friends to share my life with. I truly have the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

The wind would be the way the wind blows through each part of my life each day through the Holy Spirit. Being open to His amazing life He has for me if I'm open to receive as He blows the winds of change through each part of my daily life. 

Water would be the glasses of water I have been drinking. I actually am drinking more water than I use too. I use to drink bottle water now I'm drinking tap water with "Mio". But that may be changing too. I am going to learn to drink just ice cold tap water. Water is so important our bodies and our over all health. Working on this one daily.

In white would would be my freeze and my refrigerator that hold my food in storage.

Oh today is funny....not a lot of silence in a salon....but... lets see what I did find in silence.

1) In the wee hours of the morning as I spend quiet time before I get ready for work; spending time with the Lord and seeking His direction and favor for the day.

2) Arriving at the salon and setting everything up before the day starts and the ladies start arriving fulling my day with lots of activity and beauty as they leave with smiles on their faces.

3) The still quiet drive home as I sit in heavy traffic thinking about the adventures of the day and asking the Lord to get me home safely with no mishaps.

1) My smile as I see each person I pass out my smile and a hello

2) My cash as I went through the day spending it on various items and things of need; though it may not be actually given away as I did receive something in return for it. But......I did give it away so to speak and because it is a blessing to have the money to get what we need I thought.....maybe this would fit here.

This one is never easy for me. But....I actual have ones. Shocking!

Not really we all do!

1) Having to turn down two fun filled rod trips; because of illness. So that I could get better from this virus. Believing for Gods healing hand upon me.

2) Not so fun but working on my tax papers today. This means I have had the joy to work with the gifts and talents the Lord has blessed me with. I truly don't enjoy doing taxes at all. But it is what is required. Thankful that I can and that I have them to do.

3) Working on Mary Kay paper work and program up dating it. No always easy for me as I'm truly not an organized person. But these are things that must be done so that I can get all of my paper work done and ready for taxes. This means I have clients and sells.

17~ A gift turned, folded, hung

Turned would be the pages of the book I'm reading. It also is the pages I turn as I follow along in service the word of God that directs and helps me grow to be who He created me to be.

Folded are the fresh linen next to my bed awaiting to be unfolded this week as I change the linen on my bed.

Hung is disabled sticker in my car so I can park a little closer; Which was great today. As I had to do a lot of walking of stairs and it causes my ankle to hurt more as well as swell. I don't always use it......but there are times it is nice to have.

Happiness For A Joyful Filled Week

Day 4~ Happiness is getting called into work this morning then finding out that I will be working all week at the hospital plus at the salons on Thursday and Friday! Yea a full work week. Happiness is the beauty of the sun breaking through in the sunrise this morning. Happiness is seeing the beauty out of the hospital rooms with such beautiful views of the landscape and Mt. Hood. Happiness is being able to pray for those in the hospital while cleaning the rooms. Happiness is knowing you are doing your best.

Day 5~ Happiness is realizing that your children are like you. Happiness is getting a phone call from my church and speaking with Marlon and having a time of prayer. Happiness is having my foot propped up and resting. Happiness is hubby cooking dinner. Happiness is the laughter of my family and laughed ones that call me. Happiness is the love I feel everyday.

Day 6~ Happiness is sleeping this morning. But wishing I could have slept the whole day away. Happiness is sweatshirts and jeans. Happiness is hot showers and Mary Kay 2-1 body wash. Happiness is sharing the joy and happiness of each day with those you love.

Day 7~ Happiness is a busy day with happy clients. Happiness is having one of the happy sing a happy little diddy. Happiness is the beautiful sunshine rays. Happiness is saying thank you to someone that made a difference in your life. Happiness is being true to who you are. Happiness is my pillow and blankets awaiting me.

Day 8~ Happiness is beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Happiness is smiling faces of beauty. Happiness is getting bills paid. Happiness is full tank of gas. Happiness is Knowing you have kept good records. Happiness is a bucket of receipts that shows how truly blessed you are. Happiness is finding some great scrape booking goodies at a real good discount. Happiness is Friday the end of the week looking into the weekend.

Day 9~ Happiness is getting some business out of the way. Happiness is getting out the paper work and clearing up space to work on tax papers for taxes. Happiness is having all those papers and knowing I do pay taxes even though I don't like too; because it means I work and this is good. Happiness is the beautiful sunshine that graces us today. Happiness is a pork steak dinner. Happiness is hearing the kids play and giggle outside. Happiness is a little walk around the court. Happiness is the breath I breathe.

Day 10~ Happiness is knowing you are useful and needed. Happiness is being loved by another. Happiness is having great kitchen tools that make cooking easier. Thank you Kathy Hammersley with pampered chef. Loving my chopper and other tools I have purchased. Happiness is homemade salsa. Happiness is Sunday TV and relaxing. Happiness is rejoicing in the day the Lord has made and all He does for us. Happiness is the joy of one an other's company. Happiness is talking to family and loved one's.

4~ 3 Gifts hard to give thanks for

I thought this one was going to be hard. But I don't thinks so now. It has been a strange day of events.

1) Getting woke up at 5:20 in the morning by a ringing phone. Turns out it was for work which is a huge gift and blessing. But don't like be woke by ringing phones.

2) Losing my coat and keys that isn't a very fun thing at all. But....God has a sense of humor in all things. Glad to be home and getting ready for another full day tomorrow. Thank you to Wanda Ritter Saenz blessing me with coat'(s)

3) Having to wear protection gear in every room today. Take off throw away put on take off throw away all day. Thank God for the protection and for being able to clean the rooms. It isn't always easy to be thankful and see them as gifts. But....it is a protection for me and I'm sure the patients as well.

Hard one for me today.......

1) I found lost pennies on the ground. I love picking them up........I always have. But I even like picking them up even more then I ever did before, when I was younger; Because I call them pennies from heaven. God is telling me He loves me. I also see them as a penny saved is a penny earned; along with I think every time I find one God is blessing me with more blessings. 

2) That we can always learn from anyone if we open our selves up to learn. That the classroom is always open for the student. That I need to always be open to learn everyday from even the youngest to the oldest teacher. Today it was a young woman at work. That you for allowing me to shadow you today for an hour o work Michelle in Linen and Garbage.

3) Found pretty pictures even in the dark dreary grey rainy sky of the day! Always looking for the beauty in the day. So that is a find.

6~ A gift bent, broken, beautiful

My bent gift would be some of my keys on my various key rings to the many parts of my life. They each represent a key to which opens the door to that area of my life; which I have been blessed with. Reminds me I should replace some of them before they break. But they are bent from well use. 

Broken would be this ankle that has healed in many ways and is still healing. It represents how I have slowed down in some ways. How God has shown himself strong in my life and through this given me a stronger faith and belief that He can and does supply each and all of my needs beyond my wildest dreams.

Beautiful is the colors of my life that change each day but bring such joy. I love color and the color of each day changes as the weather. I love the richness of the color of each step and each stage of my life I live. Each colorful moment to be held and enjoyed as I walk through each one of them. That is true beauty.

7~ 3 Gifts in the kitchen

1) My dishwasher is surely a gift. I may not use it often. But.....when I do it makes life so much easier.

2) My coffee pot is a gift and anyone that knows me would agree. That my coffee post is a gift and blessing for all.

3) The calendar on the wall that gives me so much information. It is stocked full of more than jut dates. As I wrote little notes in the blocks about work, pay, appointments, and birthdays. You name it; it holds it. A huge gift that calendar is.

Laughing out loud as I think of three loud gifts.

1) The music playing loudly bringing me smiles of joy. As I want to dance in the beauty of the sun.

2) My voice which is loud when I get excited!

Ummm.......This is a toughie!

1) I love the beauty of the carvings on the wood boxes and dresser my dear hubby has made. I so wish he would do wood work and cravings again. He does beautiful work.

2) The carved wood bowl my sister Christine Good brought back from Afghanistan. Beautiful bowl that you can use as a hot plate as well. It folds up. Very unusual and the beauty stunning. Thank you Christine for such a wonderful and beautiful gift.

3) The carved beauty of the day as I went through taking care of business, cleaning and just resting from a busy week. Enjoying the beautiful sunshine of the day. It was carved perfectly my our Lords hands.

10~ 3 Gifts in Christ 

1) His daily provision I find in Him everyday as I look to Him and not my situations or to man to meet them. Because all that I will ever need is found in Him.

2) His forgiveness that is so freely given to whom ever believes and seeks His face. He daily forgives every short coming I have. Because I am loved and covered in the blood of His son to be seen as white as snow.

3) His grace and love
