Your Name Challenge~ "H"



In this challenge we are to write something in each letter of our name.

I am using my full given birth name which is:

Elizabeth.

So today's first letter in my name is:

"H"

Well today is my last day of this name challenge.

It has been a lot of fun working on the letters of my name.

It truly is amazing what you can write about.

The letter "H" in my name makes me think of the word humble.

I like to think that I am a humble person.

I know I'm very humbled by each and everyone of you who stop here and read my blog and follow me.

When I started this little blog I had no idea how I was going to be blessed.

With wonderful new friends from around the world.

How humbling is that?

With the opportunities to learn and grow in ways I had no idea.

Another very humbling experience.

I am humbled everyday that I go to work an am able to make my ladies look and feel better than when they came in to see me.

I love doing their hair and making them look more beautiful than the Lord has already made them.

Or better stated enhancing the beauty the Lord has blessed them with.

What a gift and experience that is.

I am humbled to have the three daughters the Lord has blessed with.

Then to be blessed with ten amazing grandchildren that make each day a golden moment.

I couldn't have dreamed such a wonderful gift and blessing as these children.

It has been a very humbling experience being their mom and grandmother.

Thank you Lord for entrusting me with such gifts.

I am humbled to have the wonderful family and friends I have in my life.

The Lord has truly blessed me!

Each day is a humbling experience as I go through each day.

As I see all the wondrous gifts I am blessed with through each moment of everyday.

To be loved by the God who created the Universe.

To have Him send His only begotten son for me that I might have life and life eternal.

WOW!

The most humbling of all!

Is the love He gave to me the day He sent His son to die for me.

And each one of us.

I am humbled!

Your Name Challenge~ "T"

In this challenge we are to write something in each letter of our name.

I am using my full given birth name which is:

Elizabeth.

So today's first letter in my name is:

"T"

"T" seems to be a bit more of a challenge for me to think of something creative to write about.

I have been trying to write about things that remind me of me in my name with each of the letters.

"T" in my name is a bit tougher for me.

I'm leaning towards the words tough, talented, theatrical as well as thespian.

You are most likely wondering why I have choose these words.

Well I am tough.

The reason I say this is because one has to be a bit tough to raise three girls.

Own and run her own business.

Just to survive in this old world in general.

And I'm sure there are a host of others reason I could write about tough as well.

But the hard knocks of life has made me a bit tough as well.

I would like to think that I am talented.

You have to be talented to be a business owner of any kind.

To be able to wear all the hats you have to wear to be a successful business owner at any level.

 I'm a hairdresser and love it.

I also do home care giving.

A little bit of a jack of many trades.

But isn't that what talent is about.

Being a mom a wife, running a household you have to wear many hats as well and be multi~talented.

Plus all the little things I love doing that I consider to be talents as well.

Like you wondering why I put down thespian and theatrical.

Well when I was a kid I loved to act and perform.

So I am a thespian at heart, which makes me a bit theatrical.

According to my family I am a bit of a drama queen.

The way I see it is the world is my stage.

I am the star!

Only if it is in my dreams.

So come to the theater and have the time of you life.

In this challenge we are to write something in each letter of our name.

I am using my full given birth name which is:

Elizabeth.

So today's first letter in my name is:

"E"

Hear we are at "E" again!

Well.........

I think enthusiasm and energetic is the two words that come to mind for "E" in this section of my name.

One I am very energetic about life and the things I do.

I have plenty of enthusiasm as well.

I'm easily excited about the little things in life which gives way to my enthusiasm which gives me energy.

I'm like a little kid in a huge play ground.

The energy bunny!

The world is my playground or stage as I prefer to call it.

I love sharing all the excitement and enthusiasm with everyone in my life.

Sometimes my energy level is more than what a lot of my family and friends can handle.

Their like can we slow down a bit.

Aren't you tired yet?

Never!

I'm usually pretty wound up and get excited about the little silly things in life.

I've been known to get really crazy over the top about living life to the fullest each and everyday.

Its like if I'm there we have to do it and stop and smell the roses along the path.

We might miss out on something really cool if we don't.

In this challenge we are to write something in each letter of our name.

I am using my full given birth name which is:

Elizabeth.

So today's first letter in my name is:

"B"

"B" is for beauty!

I like to think that the beauty is shining outward from within.

The reflection of the beauty that my mother spoke about when we were young.

The beauty that makes you beautiful.

The beauty that my mom always said is," beauty is as beauty does."

The beauty that shines through to the exterior from the interior of who we are.

Where are action speaks louder than words.

One that respects and honors those around them.

Doesn't think highly of themselves.

The sweet smiles the generous giving spirit.

The love and compassion one shows for another.

The one that is willing to give of ones self and not expect anything back in return.

The kind of love that our Father in heaven teaches in His word.

The reflection of who He is.

That is the beauty I pray I reflect.

I'm not one of those drop dead gorgeous women that turns heads.

Nor the girl next door.

But I want to believe that I am that beauty that shines everyday.

The beauty that brings that smile and encouraging word.

The beauty that is shining when she walks into a room it lights up.

The beauty that everyone wants.

The beauty that they want to understand and have.

 The beauty that draws and reflects love.

The beauty that each one of us has inside of us.

 Its that beauty that comes from first knowing Him who first loved us.

Our Lord and Savior!

It is that beauty that shines through even when you feel dark and gray.

The beauty my mom instilled in us when we where yet young children.

 The beauty the word of God teaches us in His word that is a reflection of Him.

It is the beauty of the light of the living God inside of us.

The true beauty that is God gives us to pour out daily to one another.

That is the beauty I hope is reflected in me daily.

Thank you mom for teaching me these simple lesson and for God so loving me that He is reflected in me.

In this challenge we are to write something in each letter of our name.

I am using my full given birth name which is:

Elizabeth.

So today's first letter in my name is:

"A"

When I think of the "A" in my name I come up with many adjective's for it.

I think of my abilities to do certain things that are God given talents.

Or the abilities and talents that I went to school to learn.

My craft and work that I so love.

I think of attitude.

Which I have lots of.

I like to think it is good attitude.

A positive attitude that is contagious.

Action because I like to take action to accomplish the things in my life that need to be done.

Which would make me an achiever.

As I do achieve and accomplish what I have set out to do.

It may take me awhile but I will complete it.

Some may even take me a life time; but I will complete what I start.

I love adventure so I think of myself as an adventurist.

I look at life as a daily adventure.

I am as well an affectionate person.

I am over the top in this area as my family tells me.

I am easily amazed.

As I find life totally amazing!

Everything in life is amazing and so AWESOME!

 I am an anchor for my kids.

Just as my mom is too me.

I'd like to think I'm ageless, I think timeless would be better fitted.

But since we are using the letter "A" it is ageless.

So I am many adjectives with my letter "A".

I'm sure I am a few negative ones too.

But...... we wont go that direction.

Your Name Challenge~ "Z"



In this challenge we are to write something in each letter of our name.

I am using my full given birth name which is:

Elizabeth.

So today's first letter in my name is:

"Z"

A little zany and fun loving I am.

So I pick the word zany for the letter "Z".

I'm not a clown or a buffoon... but I sure do love to have fun.

I am an original who loves to laugh and make others laugh.

I like it when others are having a great time.

It makes me happy!

When I see others happy!

So creating a little laughter along the way is a bit of my zany fun I have in life.

Not only do I like to laugh but I like to laugh at my own mistakes.

It makes life a bit easier when we laugh.

So being a bit zany helps the process.

Finding the humor and laughter along the way.

Because I think life is pretty funny actually.

Makes me think of the scene in the movie "Mary Poppins" where they are laughing and they end up floating up to the ceiling.

A bit like a "Spoonful Of Sugar" from the same movie.

Its like good medicine for the soul.

So very healing.

Life is to short to worry about all that is wrong in life.

 Or all the things we do wrong that need to be corrected.

It works out and with humor makes life much easier.

We need to laugh and have fun and not be so serious all the time.

Though I can be a very serious and intense person as well.

We need to move on and make the best of our life.

Laughter helps!

 So being a bit zany helps make my life much better along the journey. 

I don't think of myself as a joker or anything like that.

Just a fun loving character who loves life.

Unique and zany with big smiles, heaping portions of love and laughter.

This is a great way to have something to write about if you are in search of what am I do write about if you are having any of those Summer time brain freezes because you have taken those long Summer vacations to the water and gotten a little water logged.
