Thankful Thursday!

I have so many wonderful things to be 

thankful for............

1. A clean coffee table
2. Country music
3. A short little outing makes everything look better
4. My sisters (I love them so much!)
5. Text that make you smile
6. Safe travels
7. Evening out with sisters
8. Going to the "Pig" to help support two families fighting cancer. (Had a wonderful time)
9. New Mary Kay clients and sales
10. Being able to purchase rollers and color and cut a young ladies hair that couldn't afford it otherwise. Her smile was worth a million plus!
11. Homemade German pancakes
12. A new pair of jeans that Cathy gave me
13. That I didn't cut my finger off
14. Staying longer at sisters house
15. Watching movies with my sister Rosie
16. A beautiful sunrise
17. Hot coffee
18. Friends that love you no matter what
19. Praying friends
20. Prayers
21. Being paid cash for haircuts ... instead having to bill them out
22. A bank where they know me and what I need; the personal touch. LOVE!
23. The much needed rain. Though I'm not a fan!
24. Tennis shoes
25. Band-aids and neosporin
26. Phone calls that make smiles and laughter
27. Homemade soup on rainy days
28. Running water
29. Hot showers
30. Gods perfect love for me!
31. The joys of working with the elderly
32. Knowing God has you covered even when you don't understand 
33. Friends who drop what they are doing to come help in a pinch
34. Trusted family and friends
35. The hop of a new tomorrow and fresh beginning's.

1. Hubby making me soup and serving me when I came home for lunch
2. Mary Kay meeting and seeing all the wonderful ladies that help encourage me and support me no matter where I am in my business
3. Jeans with bling on the bottom pockets
4. Tips for my service's rendered
5. Afternoon naps
6. Meeting new people and connecting with them
7. New business opportunities
8. Homemade desserts
9. Being able to help others achieve their dreams and goals
10. Knowing that because of God in you and who He created you to be....I do make a difference and that He has great plans for me and my future
11. Getting taxes all put together ready to see tax person
12. typing up foundation request for a wheelchair
13. Money to go grocery shopping with (Thank you Lord!)
14. Talking with some of your oldest and best of friends that get you even when your upside down ~Love~
15. No more re-runs
15. Homemade corn beef and cabbage dinner
16. My printer to be able to print things off that need to be done
17. Airline tickets to Sacramento to do some Mary Kay work as well as see my girls and grandchildren
18. God's complete favor on my life
19. New skirt and dress for business trip
20. The love and prayers of friends when you call and say.....I need prayers......
21. Answered prayers ........even when it isn't the way we think it should be......Thank you Lord for your perfect answer for our needs!
22. Getting my hair colored
23. Unexpected phone call at work that makes me blush and giggle with laughter.....
24. Leftovers (Corn beef and Cabbage)
25. Knowing God's provision is perfect and He will meet all of my needs above and beyond
26. A surprise late birthday present from my sweet friend Shari! She had been ill and still wanted to celebrate me even a month late!
27. Meeting up with Geo today un-expected and having a lovely hour with her for a drink and appetizers at Apple Bees
28. Finding the cutest roommate gifts ever for this weekend at Conference for the ladies I will be sharing a room with
29. God's grace for the day 
30. God's favor and Victory in every situation that comes my way!

Thankful Thursday

I have so many wonderful things to be 

thankful for............

1. The work of my hands and each lady I am blessed to do their hair and make them feel like the beauty Queens they are.
2. Free pie at lunch today
3. God's unmerited favor
4. Friendships that span the decades of our lives; as well as the miles across this beautiful country and land! I'm so thankful for each one the Lord has brought across my path; some for a season; some for a life time. Each have a been a gift and treasure to me and who I have become.
5. Hair spray! And all of my other tools like rollers and scissors to mention a few of my tools of the trade.
6. The beautiful sunshine weather we were blessed with
7. Knowing God holds me in the very palm of His hand and He is my provision
8. Food in my cupboards and refrigerator
9. Hugs from clients that warm my heart and bring smiles that last the whole day long
10. Hope!
11. Going to the movies with my girlfriend to see "Son of God" EXCELLENT!!

12. Big buckets of popcorn to share at the movie house

13. Sleeping in

14. Heat to keep us warm

15. Knowing you can be that special someone to someone else

16. Brunch out with hubby on Sunday
17. Watching the movie "Unconditional Full Movie" on the computer........WOW!
18. Tears that touch the heart and heal the soul
19. God's forgiving grace and mercy for us daily through His son's shed blood
20.  Warm sweaters to keep us warm in the cold of Winter
21. How one person can change the out look of everything in your life....so thankful for those who can turn a sad day into a happy one and put smiles on your face and turn a tear into a diamond! {Friends}
22. Lunch out with my girlfriends....thank you for the invite...an awesome way to spend a lunch hour
23. Big white puffy clouds dancing in the sky
24. Prayers that keep you awake praying for those you love
25. Honesty even when it hurts
26. God's hand painted sky views that are new everyday with the rising of the sun to the setting of the sun.
27. New gutters that were hung on the apartment

29. Friends that allow you to vent and get things off your chest even when it isn't a pleasant event
30. Knowing God is in control even though it doesn't feel like it!

32. God's strengthen and knowing I can do all things through Him who strengthens me!

1. That we final got some Winter weather here in the PNW! I don't much care for it! Hey....but we need it! So very thankful for it!

2. Snow shovel

3. The beauty that was created by the snow storm and ice storm this past week and weekend

4. For my wonderful friend Mary who picked me up in her four wheel drive and took me to work on Friday and brought me home. What a huge blessing for me as well as my Ladies.

5. Winter headband to protect my ears from the wind and cold.

6. Re-connecting with old friends from school

7. Phone calls from friends in California that brighten my day everyday

8. Getting my bills paid and having the money to do it! Thank you Lord Jesus where my provision comes from.

9. Hubby being able to use sick leave when he couldn't get to work this weekend due to snow. Thank you that it was there to be used and that they allowed him too. So extremely grateful!

10. My scanner on my printer

11. Being able to pray for those in need and hurting as well as just praying blessings for many of my loved ones

12. Hot showers and fuzzy warm jammies with matching feet warmers

13. Snow boots

14. Buy one get one free hamburger at my favorite burger stand

15. Spell check

16. Gods word!

17. Getting my hair done and looking and feeling years younger than I actual am

18. Hubby cooking dinner and making home made salsa this week for us well he was home on snow days

19. Hearing my daughters voices and my grandchildren when they call; as they live so far away I don't get to see them. I miss them terribly but am so grateful for the phone calls and pictures.

20. Laughter and memories made this past week in the snow and ice

2. The birth of my grandchildren each and everyone of them. As we celebrate each ones special day the Lord has blessed us with. Ten amazing children growing into fine young adults.

3. The work of my hands and the talent I have been blessed with. 

4. The bills being meet monthly even when it doesn't look like they will. Somehow my God shows up and stretches those dollars in amazing ways.

5. Afternoon naps that refresh me

6. Food in the cupboards and refrigerator

7. A husband that provides

8. Relaxing lazy days with friends on short mini road trips and adventures that are like mini vacations

9. Prayers that come when you must need them and answered so quickly

12. Light to work by as well as enjoy reading and doing crafts

13. Photos that bring back memories of love and joy

1. For the time off the past two weeks as we have celebrated the birth of our Savior and the birth of a New Year

2. Great shopping adventures with girlfriends and the great bargains and finds

3. The New Year wishes from loved ones and friends far and near

4. A full Monday and Tuesday of client's at the salon

5. Movie night with hubby - watched "The Family"

6. Knowing I make a difference in someones life

7. God's favor

8. Surprise gifts from friends that brighten my day with love

9. Seeing how the Lord has stretched our fiances this past year in ways that only He could ~ Thank you Lord!

10. Getting my hair done on New years Eve day for the New Year! Truly was a blessing that I wanted and was surprised by Melody when she came to the salon and did my hair for me.

11. Timely fitted messages and words sent via those who the Lord knew would deliver; sent in various ways to show His hand of love upon me and my family. Answered prayers and needs being meet. Only He would have known as no one knew. Thank you Lord!

12. Smiles sent across the phone lines and text messages that bring joy to my heart in ways that I never knew could exist.... making me feel special 

13. Knowing God has a great future ahead for me

14. Sleeping in

15. Lunch bought for me 

16. Being a grandma to the ten most amazing grandchildren anyone could possible have

17. Hot showers and warm fuzzy jammies

18. Storage buckets for tax papers purchased at 50% off

19. Getting all the old calendars of 2013 down and all the new ones for 2014 put up

20. The joy and hope I feel for the coming year waiting for me to unwrap and enjoy!

1. My Christmas trip to Florida to see my friend Crystal and her husband. 

2. To be able to be in the sun warming on the beaches in December when I'm usually freezing in the cold of the PNW.

3. Coming home first class on the airlines! What a treat....Never have I flown first class before what an experience. Thank you Jesus!

4. Sharing the word and God's grace and love with Crystal and her hubby while in Florida. Loved their insight and message of love and grace. Thank you Lord!

5. My new clothes that I got for Florida and for the Christmas party her with my Mary Kay girlfriends. I felt like a princess.

6. Having some or all of my meals on the beach while in Florida

7. Making cookies with my girlfriends. The best part the laughter; time spent sharing and having fun.

8. Unexpected checks in the mail

9. Knowing God meets all of my needs above and beyond

10. The joy of life and all the beauty surrounding me in my journey

11. Sand between my toes

12. Phone calls from friends that lift my spirits and put a smile on my face. Thank you Lord!

13. Christmas gifts delivered from friends with care

14. Learning how to use my fancy camera

15. Prayers {And answered ones as well}

16. Manicures and pedi's

17. Knowing God has everything worked out better than I could dream or imagine

18. Snowmen and more snowmen adding to my collection...love it!

19. The story of the birth of my Savior Jesus......Christmas!

20. The joy in my heart because of Jesus
