Blessings
Back in November last year I started writing something thankful everyday on my Face book page. Then in December I made it "the gift." January I did "celebrating"; then in February I did "love is." For the month of March I'm doing "Happiness is." Whatever I feel the Lord lead me each month this year and maybe forever who knows I will do something reguarding something up lifting inspiring and thankful, grateful. Just to have....because He gave so much to me. I as well joined in with the "Joy Dare" which is so fun challenging and thought provoking. With the two of them I post everyday at some point in the day. I think I will be adding it to my blog once a week. So I thought I would link up today with one of my favorite blogs; "The Wellspring" for "Playdates With God".
The ones below are from the first few days in March and the last day of February. I hope you enjoy them.

They haves so enriched my life by doing them I cannot even explain. I even have friends that wait to see them post. Which is a hidden blessing to me.

"Day 2~ Happiness is a road trip with Mary McCormick Loomis down the gorge to the The Dalles. What a great day. Happiness is see my sisters Rosie and Christine Good. I love them so much thank you for a lovely visit today while you worked on your home. Had a relaxing day with you. Happiness is a nice visit with Carolyn Thompson and her new little baby puppy. How precious he is. I think I fall in love. Happiness is laughter and fun with family and good friends. Happiness is safely returning home from a great day."

"Day 28~ Love is another day of lovely ladies. Love is seeing them smile and happy with their styles. Love is the last day of the month. Love is saying prayers with sisters in the Lord. Love is having faith and knowing those prayers are answered in our favor. Love is the still quiet of the evening when I get home from work. Love is resting in the Lords loving arms."
I did join in the challenge and fun in January. But didn't think about putting it on my blog until last week.

"Joy Dare March~
1~ 3 Gifts at 3pm
1) Walking in the sunshine! Loved being outside taking a stroll. Walked over to the box store and beauty supply. Then around the apartments a bit. Wonderful time
2) Getting a few bargains at the beauty supply house. Yea me!
3) Getting the towels from the salon into the wash and another load as well. Busy after noon of many blessings.
How many did you have in the way of gifts after 3 this afternoon?"
2~ 3 gifts green
Well this is a good day for me. I have had plenty of green in my day today. YEA!
1) My green eye shadows to match my pants and blouse that are green today. Lots of green! :)
2) The beautiful green every green pins in the gorge as we drove to the The Dalles today. Beautiful in with over cast skies.
3) The money in my pocket that bought my snacks today and cute bag that Carol Miller would love that I got. And the sub sandwich for hubby and the final stop with my milk at the store. Enough of the green money to get what I needed. Thank you Lord.
3~ 3 Gifts wore
1) The wedding band that represents the union and unending love of the men I married. The circle of life that we share together as we walk through this life together.
2) The Mother's necklace my daughters gave me one yer for my birthday. A stone representing me in the center of a heart and the other three stones dangling from the heart representing each one of them. They are my heart and I wear them closely to my heart everyday.
3) My eye glasses so I can see all the rich beauty the Lord blesses me with each and everyday and moment I breathe in. My eyes light with the glory of Him who first loved me.

28~ A gift dull, shimmering, cleaned
Gosh I never thought of these as gift. I'm surely loving this Joy Dare challenge more all the time. It makes me see the gifts in all things.
My dull gift would be the morning of rainy skies and the grey dark rainy drive home. Thank you Lord for the showers that bring the Spring flowers
Shimmering gift would be the shimmering lights of the ladies eyes in delight and happiness after their hair is done brightening their day and putting that shiny smile upon their faces.
Cleaned would be all the towels, combs, and brushes along with the salon awaiting the next day of work ready to be bright shiny smiles on the next group of lovely ladies.

I love your joy and happiness posts. What a wonderful way to keep focused on all the good God gifts in our lives. I started a "gratitude jar" at the beginning of the year, but I must confess I slacked some in February. You've inspired me to add more blessings to my gratitude jar. Thanks!
