Green

As the sunrises

With whispers of

Laughter

I search for that perfect shade of green

The one that will match

The green eggs and ham

Or the

Tall frosty green beer

That I will have later

With my corn beef and cabbage

No

 I think I’d rather

My green

Match that green laughter

Of fun as we all

Shout and dance

To the

River dance

Or maybe that perfect shade

Of green is the one

The little green lepercan wears

As I run after him

Chasing that pot of gold

As he plays hide and seek

Headed to the rainbow

Where the pot of gold lays

On this

St.Patty’s Day

I will wear my green proud

With eyes of hazel dancing

With glitter and laughter

Painted in shades of green

No stranger do I know

For all are in my pot of gold

This weeks challenge is extremely tough.
It is a prompt that is in honor of this person I know nothing about.

I wanted to do this prompt even though it is tough. 

I wanted to give honor to this woman who is so loved by her family.

I pray that I do her justice. 

Her name is as brilliant 

As the stones which she was named after

Beryl

A rare gem

She was tough

She had to be

A mom

A wife in war time

It wasn't easy

But 

She made the best of it

She lead her children by example

She didn't hide from difficulties

The war wasn't easy on her

Beryl had to make tough decision's

As many did in those day's

Many admired her

She never shrinked from responsibility

She always had a smile

Even when life was handing her lemons

Her smile was

For all who came across her path

Never did she shy away 

A stranger she didn't know

 If in need

She was the first to help

She always thought

If it wasn't for the kindness of others

This could have been me

Yes

Times were tough

But Beryl was tougher

She lead by example

1. The music of my soul that sing my soul to thee as I Praise my Savior all day long
2. The kleenex to blow my nose from this horrible virus and cold I have had for weeks
3. The meds for cold and ankle both that I am the healed in Him who first loved me.
4. Having coffee with friends and sharing our lives together
5. Meeting Melody at the beauty shop. She is retiring and blessing me with her entire business and shop for no fees as well as I wont be paying any money month to month to those who own the space either. God is so good!
6. The smiles and joy of each lady as I have finished up their hair styles
7. Speaking with the lawyer and getting positive feed back on my case. Please pray for my continued favor. Thank you!
8. Knowing all good things come from above who first loved us
9. Body lotion to keep my skin moist and soft
10. Meeting up with old friends and sharing some serious moments with laughter and joy
11. Being held by someone who makes you feel special
12. The work of my hands; the gifts and talents the Lord has blessed me with
13. Celebrating my youngest daughters birthday; by surprising her with basket of flowers
14. Going to a Mary Kay meeting and seeing all the new color releases for Spring and the new line. Plus the best part having some girl time and just getting out
15. The drive to work and knowing God blesses the work  of my hands
16. Hubby making homemade nachos for me this evening after work
17. Being able to pray with co-workers at work and knowing God hears our prayers and answers them
18. More orders for my Mary Kay. Small be each a blessing and I love being able to be a service to each one
19. New clients to make beautiful
20. The love of my children and grandchildren
