CK Girl

I tremble at the thought of saying goodbye
I keep each memory close to the heart
As each tear dampens my cheeks
As the time draws near to say our final goodbyes
You have been a treasured friend
I tremble at the thought
The  needle that will take you to rainbow bridge
Each dampened tear streak smudge
A tear and picture of you
A memory to treasure
As I keep the days and years we shared
Held tightly to my heart
As we wandered this journey of life together
My companion and friend
CK
I love you
You will be missed
Thank you for the love and friendship shared

~Beth~

She is still with us at this time. She is very weak and will be gone by the end of the month. We hold each day close as it draws near to say goodbye. Tears come in waves and I am taking many pictures. She has been my companion and friend for nearly fifteen years. Thank you for your love and support as we get ready to say goodbye to a treasured friend.

Are you enjoying the Spring weather?
Are you planning anything exciting for your mom on Mother's Day?

Oh this is heart breaking. I had a little rescue half Yorkie half Pomeranian dog in the UK and she was sickly right from being 3 months old and rescued. She became our 'baby' and we nursed her all through from 3 months old to being 10 and a half. She had gastric problems the whole time. And it was always a struggle to feed and keep her stomach well.
Finally she was suffering too much and it was unfair for us to try and keep her any longer so we make that heart breaking decision to end her suffering. We had her cremated and not being able to part with her completely we kept her ashes in a small wooden urn with her collar and name tag around the top of it. We grieved her loss every bit as much as we would have another member of the family and never let anyone tell you any differently. You have been blessed to share her life and love for 15 wonderful years and of course, she won't leave you, her love will still be right there inside your heart.
Awww big hugs. to you and to CK too may she be happy as she crosses The Rainbow Bridge and waits for you to eventually join her once again.

Oh my heartbreak for sure! I'm sending you a great big hug, and I know it will take time, but your sweet friend is kindly smiling, I just know it...and would be broken hearted to know that you were sad. Dogs are so funny like that...they like their people happy! No matter what!

Oh this is so sad.I know how you are feeling. Your life has been enriched and given an important dimension because of the love you received from your pet. Animals can teach us so much about love and devotion. I send blessings and hugs to you.You are in my thoughts.

They come into our lives but stay just a short time and are gifts to us. I still remember my 'best dog' Penny, a beautiful Gordon Setter.
