65 Day Journey

Day 65

The very last day of the challenge
The last day of the month
The last day of the year
And 2011!

I say goodbye 2011!
Welcome 2012!

For the last day of everything today I treated myself to a root canal of all things.
Yes!
You heard right.
Ouch in the mouth
Ouch in the pocket book
Double ouch!
And still need a crown.
Which I cannot afford.
This set me way back.
But I praise God that I will be feeling better soon.

Hubby made nachos for dinner.
We are going to rest a bit and play on the Wii

Hope the year end finds all of you enjoying the festivities of the celebrations with loved ones.
May the New Year bring new found joy and love and fill your homes with many blessings

NKJV

Psalm 141:2

Let my prayer be set before You as incense, The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

Devotional Card

O God of love and forgiveness, so fill my heart with the spirit of Jesus that I will be quick to return love for evil.

Psalm 16:11

"Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for ever more."

Are you going out this evening to celebrate the New Year?

365 Days Of Pictures ~ Day 311

Hubby and one of his big catches that he received for Christmas.
You can tell he was really stoked over this one!
Looks like there will be fishing trips in 2012 coming his way.
Fresh fish to eat.
Yum!
A happy hubby is a good one!
Thank you Santa John for the gift.

65 Day Journey

Day 64

The last Friday of the year!
It was relatively quite in the salon today.
I did four shampoo sets and two hair cuts.
Next week should be a full busy week if all appointments hold.
Which would be a great start to the New Year!

Came home and Sally and I visited a bit.
She and Carol went out for a bit.
I was so happy to see her get out.
She has been such a huge blessing to me.
But...
I know she needs to get out.
I'm sure she had a bit of cabin fever.

I went over for tea at Pat's house.
It was a lovely time.
The best part was having tea in fine bone china.
Somehow that tea seemed to taste so much better.
It was a lovely afternoon.

It has rained all day today.
For the most part it has been a very dry December.
Cold but dry!

Wonder what the New Year will hold....

NKJV

Psalm 5:8

Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face.

Devotional Card

Dear Lord, as we rely on you for our security, may we live so we can help some others find the security they need.

Proverbs 1:33

"Whoso hearkeneth unto me shall swell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil."

Are you Looking forward to the New Year?

65 Day Journey

Day 63

Another full day at the salon.
For some reason when I work out at Clackmas I always seem to be more tried.
I'm not sure if it is because I get up at 5 to leave at 7 and go until about 4 or 5.
Or the fact that I really haven't had any sleep in three days due to the darn flood light that is pouring into my entire house.
There is no escaping this horrible light at night.
It lights up my entire home like brood day light!
I will find away to fix it.
I spoke with management and they assure me that wont be going away ever.
WONDERFUL!

As the minutes go fleeting by one be one.
I look over this past year;
Making mental notes:
 Of things accomplished
Things to complete
And things that I wish I had done
That I will do in 2012.

NKJV

Isaiah 37:30

This shall be a sign to you: You shall eat this year such as grows of itself, And the second year what springs from the same; Also in the third year sow and reap, Plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them.

Devotional Card

O Lord, let mine be a life of sacrificial love.

Psalm 5:12

"For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous:with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield."

Have you started to put your Christmas decoration's away?

365 Days Of Pictures ~ Day 310

So these pictures have quite the story to them.
This morning when I left for work at 7 am.
Still dark outside!
I went to get into my car.
In between my hubby's truck and my car sat this evil creature.
With large beadie eyes!
Staring at me!
I was petrified!
I let out a blood curdling scream!
It wouldn't move or leave.
I said please Lord make it go away!
I stomped my feet and it still wouldn't leave.
Then I said I guess I will just crawl in through the passenger side of the car.
So I crawl in with legs all over the place.
Across all of my hair equipment.
Across the console.
Frightened to death!
Then I say okay it will leave when I start the car.
It didn't!
So then I told hubby when he called;
That there was a huge mouse in the drive.
 Near his truck on the passenger side;
That he needed to take care of.
So he grabbed a plastic bag to go get it.
It was:
A
Plastic Pig!
Can you believe it?
It even scared me again when I came home and I saw it on my coffee table.
Oh My Gosh!
Am I a silly goose!

It seems the days are rolling into one another;
Here at the year end.
Where one ends another begins,
But they all seem to be one to me.

Wednesday was a full day at the salon
A perm first thing in the morning.
Then a long lull between appointments.

So a roaming I went.
I took some photos of the Christmas decor;

This picture was taken by my friend Sally!
I love the prayer trees at the Grotto.
Every year I place a pray on the tree.
They are one of my very favorite things to go and visit while we are there.
I love reading some of the many prayers and Praises.
Then I can as well pray too!

So this is the last post to the challenge of the 13 days of Christmas.
One of the most wonderful things I love to do is;
Go to Midnight service.
I love going and singing Christmas carols.
The lights are so deem and the still quietness of the night.
It is if you are present at the birth of our King!
I love when the Priest carry the Little Lord Jesus in and lay him in the manger.
The whole service is so beautiful.
It takes me back to my roots and my first love.
It is a perfect start to the Christmas day!

How do you start your Christmas Day?
