With head held high
She read in disbelief
The desire of another
As she wilted with each word
A shiver went down her spine
As she read with weeping eyes
Wilting with each breathe she breathed
The letter filled with desire
Not meant for her eyes
With deep sickness
A sadness over came her
She wilted......
With what little life was left inside of her
Wondering how this desire for another
Had spun into such an affair
Lifting her head
With a shocking shiver
She arose with a passion
Knowing this was not the end
But.....
The beginning of something better
