Day 20

Who in your life are you grateful for?

Okay this is utterly the most difficult question for my 30 days of grateful so far. First of all l am extremely grateful for every person who has come into my life. To pick just one is just impossible! I'm thankful for each person in my life for many different reasons. Each uniquely bringing something no other person could ever possibly bring into my life. You all enrich my life and make me a stronger and better person in my journey through life. I could not be the person l am today without each one of you. Thank you! So I'm picking my mom. She is my rock, my hero. She is someone to look up to and I'm proud to call her mom. Super grateful for her. My three amazing daughters are my other hero's and am extremely grateful I was gifted these three amazing young ladies in my life and I am blessed to be their mom. They have taught me many lessons in life and still do. My grandchildren who keep me young and full of wonderment. I could go on and on. I am so thankful!

What song are you most grateful for?

You'd think these questions of thankful would get easier somehow! But they really aren't easy at all. Some are diffidently more difficult then others. Today isn't as hard as yesterdays....but is still a hard one to answer. I truly enjoy many different types of johndra of music. I have never really had just one favorite song or type of music. Many pieces and johndra's speak to my heart for different reason. Music speaks to my heart and to the events that are going on in my life and always a season for each song that i enjoy. The one song that always speaks to me no matter what is going on in my life and where I'm at is "Amazing grace". And if I had to pick the johndra of who would be singing it......truth is it wouldn't matter. It speaks to me every time. Now I also love all Christmas songs and I'm the girl who could possibly listen to it year round. It music that soothes my soul and makes me happy all at one time.

What story are you grateful for?

A story I'm grateful for.....so many wonderful stories to pick from. Wonderful story tellers and another hard pick. Gosh..... I'm sitting here trying to pick just one! Tough tough indeed! The creation was always a favorite as a child. The Christmas story of our Lord's birth. Or maybe it's the love story of the Savior for our world. Or maybe it's the story of my life and where I've been to where I'm going. The miracle of life. So many ..... or maybe it's the fantasy of Wizard of Oz or Mary Poppins's. Or a period story Gone With The Wind. I cannot pick. My choice is my mysterious life of miracles.

Day 23

What tradition are you grateful for?

So many traditions to chose from. Some passed on from generation to generation. Some new ones made as the family grew. Now making new ones to fit me and my new life style as a single lady. But the one I pick today is the Macy Day Parade. Always forever as long as I can remember. I'm thankful for this tradition from my childhood while into my adulthood. Watching it now! Happy Thanksgiving! Blessings

What challenge are you grateful?

What challenge am I grateful for? I cannot say at the time I'm in the challenge I'm honestly grateful for it. But every challenge I've had in my life after I've made it to the other side l have been grateful for it and thankful I made it through. Each one making me a stronger person and the person l am today. Those are the really tough challenges. The easy ones.... are the daily ones that help build character. The one I'm most thankful for today ......ummmmm......that is another tough one! I'm letting go of what was and looking towards what can be. Still going through this one. But l do have excitement as I've been adjusting this year. It truly has been a journey of self discovery. Letting go of what was would be what I'm picking. Let's see what the future holds as l let go.

What moment this week are you most grateful for?

The moment I am most grateful for this week hands down is when I was driving to moms on Wednesday and missed the accident on the freeway by five minutes.....which was exactly the amount of time I pulled over to stretch at the rest stop. God's hand upon me. Safe travels for sure. Arriving at moms in one piece. Thank you Lord for your traveling mercies. Extremely grateful!

What form of expression are you most grateful for?

The form of expression most grateful for? Ummmmm......WOW! Another extremely tough one. I personally like to express myself creatively through art form. My preferred would be writing. But I enjoy all art forms. Guess that's why I'm a bit on the dramatic side. I love hugs and kisses with I love you's. You're important to me. You know the drill.....sappy crap. So many choices on how to express. Love to hear yours.

What small thing that you use daily are you grateful for?

What small thing do I use daily that I'm grateful for. Dang you would think these would get easier. NOT! My phone!It keeps me in touch with all those I love.Oh wait I think I picked that on electronics day. UGH! Lets try this again.....My coffee pot of course! its how I start my day daily. I can not imagine not being able to start my day with out my coffee. So my coffee pot is my obvious small thin I use daily that I'm truly grateful for and I'm sure many others are as well that I do!

What small thing happened today that you are grateful for?

What small thing happened today that I'm grateful for today? Lots of small things happen that I'm grateful for. Waking up! Having coffee! Paying my mortgage payment...which is probably the one I'm most grateful for. Car payment being paid! Another small but biggie. finding little items to put in my grandson Anthony DeSouza's Christmas box heading to Afghanistan.Speaking to several of my girlfriends I haven't spoken with in a long time; that brought smiles to my face. All these small things added up to really big things that truly bless me continually daily.But i think the mortgage and car being paid is what I'm picking today.

What friend/family member are you grateful for today?

What friend or family member am I grateful for today? Dang! They didn't get the first memo everyone in my life is special. Couldn't do my life without each and everyone of you in it. Especially my mom, my sister's Christine Good, and Rosie, and my brother,and my three amazing talented daughters, Webber Heather, Amber Webber, and Racheal Perry, and all of my amazing grandchildren who full my heart with so much joy it over flows. Thank you! So no one cannot just pick one. But.... today I will pick Sherilynn Ganther and Mary McCormick Loomis to be thankful for. Mary for driving on our adventure today, and because she is an amazing friend! Thank you! And Sherilynn Ganther for helping me with some Christmas and just being the awesome person you are! Thank you!

What talent or skill are you grateful for?

A talent or skill I'm grateful for? Really.....didn't I do this one already!?! Ummmmm...........Okay this was a tough one the first go around. Still thankful for my hairdressing skills even though I'm not do them professionally any longer. Let's see if I can figure this one out....... The new talents that I'm learning and enjoying very much would be my photography. Still lots to learn.

November 20~ Rainy days and Monday's! Good morning coffee! We are going to need lots of you today. Morning appointments means no rolling over and going back to sleep. Glad I made it to both appointments today. Shocker! I got the call from Frontier well in first appointment. They weren't suppose to show until noon or after. Call came in at 9:30 a.m. dang! Nothing I can do about it. Called between appointment's phone is fixed. Yea! Sherilynn Ganther thank you for mending my coat. You cannot even tell there was a horrible tear in it. Thank you so very much. Looks brand new. Home to put my feet and legs up today. My accomplishments today were taking care of me. Today Lord I'm thankful for my land line being up and running once again. For my couch to lay and keep my feet up today. I'm thankful for my dress coat that my friend Sheri repaired for me. I'm thankful for marathon TV binge watching. I'm thankful for the groceries in my house and my skillet dinner I made this evening. Thankful for my electric fireplace that warms my home. I'm thankful for another day that is filled with people, places, events, and things that I am personally thankful for everyday. Blessings

November 21~ Good morning! Another full day of activities and appointments. Cannot roll over and pull the covers over my head. Oh well! Coffee, sweet rolls and prayers before I get this day rolling. Tires rotated and balanced, fluids check! A walk around the parking lot. Exercise in! Stop by oil change guys. Cleaned my battery! Yea! I'm ready to roll safely down the road. Afternoon appointment....ends early. Nice. Gas station fill! Yep! Now home to an early dinner. Today Lord I'm thankful for my car and all those mechanics that worked on my car. For the tires and warranty on them. For my battery being serviced. I'm thankful for the finances to fill my tank. The phone call from mom. Love hearing her voice. Thankful for another day to see the rich goodness and blessings that you provide daily for me Lord. Thank you! Blessings

November 22~ Good early morning! Yet another day of not rolling over and snuggling up and going back to sleep. Time to finish packing before heading out to early morning appointment. First an early call with Frontier that gets my blood roaring. Very disappointed in there customer service. Guess this is going to be an ongoing saga for awhile. Semi satisfaction until December 9th. Then we will see what happens. Roku looking better and better everyday. Then my beautiful drive to Oregon City on the river road l so love and enjoy every week. So very grateful for my friend that shared this route with me about a year ago. I have been blessed every time l drive this route. Thank you my friend. You are missed and pray this week finds you enjoying Thanksgiving with those you love. Happiness always to you. Hit the highway at 9:45 a.m. heading to moms. Rainy and roads filled with travelers already. God's hand upon me three times. Mercedes-Benz almost ran me off the road. Trucker not paying attention and the biggie ten car pile up accident closing all but one line outside Tacoma. I had stopped for five minutes at a rest stop. Accident five minutes in front of me. Thank you Lord. You are always in my hip pocket. Wait I'm just the co-pilot. Arrive safely at mom's. I'm always in your hip pocket. Cookies and dinner. Laughing as I sat outside her house waiting for her. She was inside making pumpkin pie. How silly! An afternoon movie and ice cream that makes everything okay. Today Lord I'm thankful for for safe travels. For your hand being upon me. For the three amazing beautiful rainbows l saw today as I traveled reminding me of your promises. I'm thankful for my snaps that brought smiles of interest. You made my travel day. For my interesting detour around Poulsbo. Makes me chuckle. I'm thankful for ice cream and eating in bed with mom. Yes! Lord I'm thankful for this day and your watchful eye and provisions. You never fail me. Thank you! Blessings

November 23~ Oh my! One isn't sleeping in here at all. In fact it's still very dark outside. Good morning 5 a.m. oh I don't like! Waking in moms bed with mom watching TV. Guess it's time to rise and shine. Happy Thanksgiving mom! Happy early thanksgiving! Time to get up and start this early day of thanksgiving. Mom had everything ready and table formally set for dinner by ten a.m. Lesson here get up early get everything ready then you can enjoy the day as well. Watched the Macy Day Parade! Santa arrives! Dinner is served and thanksgiving given. Mom and Bill crack me up. They are so cute. Spoke to all three of my beautiful daughters Webber Heather, Amber Webber, and Racheal Perry happy thanksgiving and I love you's. Many thanksgiving blessings sent my way. Thank you! Perfect thanksgiving! Today Lord I'm thankful to spend thanksgiving with my mom and Bill. I'm thankful for all the food. I'm thankful for all that serve their communities and country this Thanksgiving day. I'm thankful for the love sent my way this Thanksgiving day. I'm thankful for my phone to speak and receive the many blessings from loved ones. I'm thankful for so many blessings gifted me this day. Thank you Lord for your hand upon all those I love and couldn't be with. Thank you Lord for all you do everyday to bless me. Blessings

November 24~ Good morning Black Friday! Yep! I don't think you will find me out there looking for any shopping deals. Rolling over and going to snuggle under my moms warm blankets. Today my moms idea of black Friday is baking all day. I'm going to be her assistant. Which means I'm the chopper, stirrer, cutter, wrapper, taster and bowl licker. And I'm here to tell you that this is a really tough job. Not just anyone could do this. Means pretending how over exerting the task is. Remembering favorite childhood goodies with lots of smiles and love stirred and applied to each batch made. I think this maybe either the best black Friday ever: or the one that puts one into a sugar coma. At any rate it was fun helping mom. Left over turkey for a late lunch or is that an early dinner. Tomorrow's project arrives. I actually already worked on it this evening. Mom crashed and burned at five thirty this evening. Today Lord I'm thankful for time with my mom. Creating treats for those I love with her. Loved the baking time, as we made lifetime memories. Thankful for the baking tools that made our job easier. Thankful for the conversation with my daughter Webber Heather. Excited to chat with my Aunt Carol today as well. Thankful for relaxing and just enjoying the day. Loved a no make-up hair day. Thank you Lord for your hand upon all those I love. Another day of blessings fill my day. Thank you! Blessings

November 25~ Good morning Saturday! I made it past seven this morning. Whoohoo! I really wanted to stay in bed. But I could hear mom rattling around. I knew she had lots planned for the day ahead. So time for coffee and mom made iceland pancakes for breakfast. I'm going to be spoiled when I leave here. Mom's idea of relaxation today is: finish up on baking. Pull out Christmas and start displaying the lights and glitter of Christmas. Christmas movies and music. I'm thinking no relaxing here. Then I go on the mad hunt for a mysterious Christmas box that doesn't even exist. So funny! Mom had moved some of her nativity pieces and we thought they were missing. Not! They had been moved by her little hands into another room, were she had forgotten she had put them. It has been an adventure in her garage. One not to be forgotten as we looked for the mysterious box that didn't exist. Finished up cookies and wrapping them up and dividing them into their appropriate plates. Mom fixed left over turkey dinner again for lunch/early dinner. I'm thinking that about wraps up her turkey dinner from thanksgiving. She is wearing out. So much to still do. Good night mom! Today Lord I'm thankful for sleeping in until seven. I'm thankful for my mom making us breakfast. I'm thankful to be here to help her put up her Christmas decor. (She has beautiful pieces. And lots of snowmen.) And I have had adventures with her. Thankful to be apart of all the baking of sweets. So thankful to have my mom. Thankful to watch her eyes light up as she shared her Christmas decorations with me. I was so excited to see so many things in the garage that brought memories from childhood days. Thankful for this day spent playing amongst the Christmas decor with mom. What a wonderful day Lord; thank you. Blessings

November 26- Sunday morning adventures. Good morning mom! Looks like mom goes to early morning service. Well..... I guess I'm not making it to service this morning. Sad! But I can start sorting and folding my suitcase and repacking. Mom takes me out to breakfast this morning. What a nice breakfast we had at Elmer's. Thank you mom! Come out of restaurant and its pouring down rain. Makes me happy I decided to stay an extra day. Then we come back home and piddle around. Mom suggested we go gas up my car. Out we go to Silverdale to Costco. What a nice drive. Stopped at Rite Aid and wandered around. Hardly a soul in the store. The few that are in the store giggle and laugh as I play with all the Christmas decor. Pushing buttons, objects light up, singing, dancing, to Christmas songs, and the eyes of childhood glittery smiles cross my face as it does across the faces of the other customers in the store as they walk by. Seems it was a nice reminder to them that a child lurks around in all of us just wanting to come out and play. What fun being a child at play at Christmas time, even if your over the hill. Even mom smiles! Mom found a few items. I found two cute decorative items at half off. Home to work on Christmas once again. Mom has a lot of stuff. She said everything will be in their prospective homes on Tuesday. Sadly I won't see it complete. But I do have my childhood memories of Christmas at home. Not as playful as her decor is now. But brings smiles all the same. Dinner is cooking. Ice cream for dessert. Mom in bed once again before six. I so do love her. Bless her Lord. Hallmark Christmas movies and a relaxing evening, as the last of my stay comes to a close. Today Lord I'm thankful for my days adventures out and about with mom. For my 50% off purchase at Rite Aid. For being able to help mom put up more of her Christmas decor. I'm thankful for breakfast out and the excellent service we had. I'm thankful for gassing up today and loading a few things up. I'm thankful for another day spent with mom. I'm even thankful for the rain. Glad I have my jacket with a hood. Yes there is so much to be thankful for everyday. I'm thankful God I'm still blessed to have my mom. Thank you! Blessings

November 13~ Good morning Monday! New day new week. Waking at six realizing I could roll over and go back to sleep. And you know what? Yes, I did! I rolled over without a thought about time; snuggled up tightly under those cozy warm blankets, next to those soft fluffy pillows. Where I stayed until eight thirty. That was just wonderful! I must do that again! Now its time to rise and shine. Good morning snap brings smiles. What excitement awaits us? First coffee, because l have lots of business calls to make this morning. Then post office and bank. Seems those darn bill collectors want a slice of my pie. The only problem with that is the slices are getting bigger going out. Thank you Lord for providing enough for each slice above and beyond. That they are paid off in full in Jesus name amen.Sherilynn Ganther thank you for coming over and running errands with me. Let's go see Geo Sutter. Soup for lunch to warm the insides. Yum! Then a ride out to Cascade Station. There we walked around IKEA and then around Home Goods. Great walk plus free Window shopping. Thank you Geo for having us over for dinner and Hallmark movies. Really enjoyed myself. Today Lord I'm thankful for friends to spend the day with. I'm thankful for my phone call from my baby girl Racheal Perry. I love you and I miss you so very much. I love hearing my daughter's voice. So I'm thankful for my ears to hear. I'm thankful for hot soup! Thankful for warm places to walk and get my exercise in. For window shopping because it's free. Love looking at all the pretty things. Thankful for my eye sight to see. Thankful for all the many resources Lord that you bless me with daily. For the sun breaks in the gloomy grey skies that bring warmth and smiles as I enjoy this day with my friends you blessed me with. Thank you for another day to explore and see this world you created for me to enjoy, as I find the many gifts and treasures that you placed for me to find and enjoy. For your gifts and treasures are new everyday. Thank you! Blessings

November 14~ Good morning Tuesday! Love this staying snuggled tightly under my cozy warm blankets longer in the morning. Especially on these cool brisk mornings. Time to roll out of bed for the day. Coffee time and prayers. Crystal N Koch you always have the perfect fitted word. Your love, insight and compassion never cease to amaze me. I'm so blessed to have you in my life. Thank you for your wisdom and prayers this morning. Surprises await at every turn. God's word being confirmed in my life on all matters concerning me. Morning business taken care of and appointments made. Now its time for my afternoon appointment. WOW! That was different. Strange! Glad it ended early. Laundry....... has a whole new meaning. Are you reading my laundry or is the laundry getting washed, dried, folded, and put away? Yes, honey mine is washed, dried, folded and put away. Now if my laundry is being read.....well that is an ongoing saga. But that's between me and God. Interesting how the interpretation of laundry was taken today. Glad mine wasn't out for the hanging. Thank you Geo Sutter for having Sherilynn Ganther and I over for spaghetti dinner. It was yummy. Today Lord I'm thankful for for warm blankets and my cozy bed. For my phone so I can talk to my friends. For being able to pray with my friends and know there you are in the midst of it. Thankful that I have your peace. That even when life is raging around me I have the peace that only you can give. So thankful for that inner peace. I'm thankful for another day filled with your love and grace Lord. Blessings

November 15~ Good morning rainy days and Monday aka Wednesday! No rolling over and sleeping in today. To much to do and early morning appointment out in Oregon City. Smiles of beauty to create. Coffee and prayers. Think comfy warm clothes for today. Yoga pants and layers with sweaters. Love that drive along the river even on a rainy grey day. I am forever grateful for my friend who directed me this way off the freeway. I never tire of this route. My mini vacation. It is so peaceful and full of beauty going into hibernation. Non-stop rain. Back to town and a haircut for Tanina Cossimina Giarrusso. It was great to see you. Then more errands before heading in to see the dentist. Hoping this correction of my bite solves the problem. More calls to make reguarding car maintenance. Get right in for oil change. Meet up with Mary McCormick Loomis at Bumpers for lunch. Great BLT with sweet potato fries and hot tea. Then off we go to Gresham Station to look at some things. Sad to find out my guru at Samsung is no longer there. They have parted ways. I will miss you Steve. He was awesome! Bought my Roku tonight. Now to decided if thats what l really want to do....or......go with just an antenna. Thank you for the glass of wine. It was nice to see you. You will be in my prayers. Today Lord I'm thankful for plenty of warm clothing as well as a nice warm coat to keep me dry. Thank you Lord for safe travels today as I traveled about town in the rain. Thank you Lord for directing my path today so l could get all my business and errands done. Thank you for time spent with Mary and our lunch. Thank you for my vitamin C. Thank you Lord for your provision in my daily needs. That there is no lack but more than enough to meet all of my needs each and everyday. Thank you Lord for for the quiet from the busy day. November 16~ Good morning rise and shine! Or is that roll over and go back to sleep. Rough night....I'd like to roll over and go back to sleep. But a new day has dawned. Time to get coffee on! Coffee with a girlfriend this morning. Always nice to share a cup of coffee with a friend. Thank you Lara Hurst for coming over and spending the morning with me. I also appreciate you helping me out. The morning quickly drifts away from us and soon its time for me to get ready for my afternoon appointment. Always good to see the ladies. They bring smiles of unspoken understanding and love. You all are so amazing and awesome! I'm so thankful for each one of you; you each enrich my life by being apart of my life. Thank you! Rain is back! Don't like the rain at dusk or night......when I'm driving. Thank you Lord for watching over me and giving me traveling mercies. What a lovely evening with you Geo Sutter. I'm glad we have each other. You are such a blessing in my life. Thank you for your listening with your heart (ears) and your amazing insight and wisdom. I love you my friend. Today Lord I'm thankful for coffee and time with friends. I'm thankful for hot showers and more shampoo and conditioner then one household needs. I'm thankful for lotions for my rattlesnake skin. I'm thankful for gifts given that are from the heart. I'm thankful for family history and memories. I'm thankful for the quiet that soothes my soul and the whisper of the I love you! November 17~ Good morning Friday! Half the month has slipped away! Where has it gone? The year coming to a fast close. The colder night's and morning's are here for sure! Frosty and his friend's surely could stay in my house and feel right at home. Or if you need a place to hang meat...well it would stay fresh in this meat locker for sure. Thinking I'm not going to be able to keep the heat turned off much longer; those pipes will need some warmth just like me. It really would be nice to hibernate under these cozy warm blankets until warmer weather arrives. But have to get up......coffee is on. That should help warm the insides for sure. Phone service went out....About two hours spent on phone with them. Looks like the landline will be down until sometime Monday! Ugh! Now maybe I can get some things done. Post office here I come. Hello Geo Sutter! Yes! I'd love to come over. Countryside drive through East county, lunch, and a walk through Fred Meyers for my exercise. No money spent in store! Yea! Thank you for the day's outing today Geo, I really enjoyed it. Back home to the ice box, and some laundry. Today Lord I'm thankful for my little electric fireplace heater and warm comfy clothes. I'm thankful for my cell phone. I'm thankful for countryside drives. Thankful for hot tea to warm me up. I'm thankful for the late Fall beauty that surrounds me. I'm thankful that many of my friends and family enjoy my thankful post that I have been doing for over a year now. I'm thankful Lord that you watch over me and every need l have need of and you meet them daily. I'm so thankful for yet another day of the beauty of the dance of life I've been given. Thank you! November 18~ Oh I'm so nice and warm snuggled tightly in my nice cozy bed! I know it's the weekend...but this hibernation thing for the rest of the year in this warm bed seems like a great idea to me! But.....It is Saturday and the big ball of yellow sunshine is peeking out. I'm thinking it wants me to come out and play today. I may have to do that after I get some chores done around the house.First things first! Coffee yes coffee! Now to get on this laundry and take down my drapes and wash them and put them away for another season. I had such fun hanging my drapes today.Thank you Sherilynn Ganther for helping me. To funny that we both put them on backwards. They look great! Laundry is folded and put away and clean drapes hung. Chores! Okay time to go see about getting out in this sun. First stop to see Tanina Cossimina Giarrusso. Love those crafts. A little drive and some fresh air is in order. Lets head over towards the Women's Forum and take in the great view of the Gorge. Not ready to call it a day yet. Let's go for a country drive on some back roads leading to the unknown. Such beauty rolling through these back country roads. Lots of farms and Fall colors. Let's see where these roads lead too. WOW! This is great! A park! Dodge park and this is where the Sandy River and the Bull Run River come together. So beautiful! The rush of the water and the Fall day perfect! Time to play like a kid and forget all the troubles of the adult world. Time to be in Never Ever Land where only kids are aloud to be. Yes! I visit there as much as possible. A walk along the river bank, don't forget to watch for bears. Time to go swing and teeter totter. What fun! Really? Do we have to go back home to the real world of adulting? Seriously? Time to leave the land of Peter Pan......but I will be back! And very soon! Another back road heading back to the world of responsibility and adulting! But wait not just yet! Let's go have pizza and watch the sunset. WOW! I love this stop in the adult world. It was a great big smile and hello! Glad you stayed and had another beer with us. Home to work on room and clothes. OH! Where is that magic wand? Thank you Sherilynn Ganther! We will get through this eventually! Today Lord I am so thankful to have my drapes hung and the fresh look it gives the house.I'm thankful for the help of hanging them up. Thankful for music and dancing in the living room like it's 1977. I'm thankful for left over chocolate cake for breakfast with my coffee. For my car getting washed today! I'm thankful for another country road drive that leads to unexpected child like joy and peace. I'm thankful for pizza and not having to cook. A stop at Puff's and a big hello! For time with friends and laughter. I'm thankful to be almost totally packed to go to my moms for Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for the many blessings of the day. Yep I have a really long list of thankfulness today that I am truly grateful for. Thank you for this day you have given me Lord. I am so blessed thank you. Blessings

November 19~ Good morning Lord! It is Sunday! It's your day! Oh how I would love to stay in this bed all day and not get up. But then I would miss out on so much! There is so many things to enjoy and see everyday. Coffee time and prayer time. Glad I could cut your hair for you. Thank you for sealing my door. Today I am heading out to the zoo with my friend Sherilynn Ganther. It's free! So we have decided to take the max train to the zoo. Much better than fighting traffic and trying to find a parking place. Yep! I think this is going to be a grand day! The weather is cooperating with us. The views on the way to the zoo are captivating in the fact that they tell a story in each part of town. You can see the hustle and bustle of the city life even on a Sunday. The Town's Christmas tree has already arrived in Portland's downtown living room. She is a pretty one. The zoo is crowded with young and old alike. The animals are so active today. They all are putting on quit the show. They really are having as much fun as the visitors that have come to see them. Each putting on a show to remember. Have camera's ready or you may miss out on the perfect picture. It was a great day to spend at the zoo. The zoo had many beautiful Fall colors still vivid and fighting for the last little bit of life they have left in them; as the zoo gets ready for the their Christmas zoo lights. It truly was fun seeing the city and the zoo coming to life in festivities as they get ready for the Christmas season that is fast approaching. The hustle and bustle truly has started. The sky line on the way home from the zoo was breathe taking with the lights and the water and of course the skyline. The sky itself is always beautiful as the Lord always hand paints a beautiful evening sky to enjoy. Hard to get good pictures with the lights reflecting back on the train. But it was pretty. Panda Express for dinner thank you my friend. It was yummy! What a great close to a wonderful day and weekend. Memories made and pictures that tell a story of fun and on a beautiful Fall Sunday afternoon. Perfect! Today Lord I am thankful we didn't have to deal with traffic and parking. I'm thankful for the free zoo entrance today. I'm thankful for all the animals you have blessed this world with and a place of habitat that we might be able to enjoy these creatures you have blessed this world with. For the excitement of the children big and small, that I could hear and see the joy in each one. The joy of being able to enjoy these animals in a natural setting. Thank you Lord! Lord I am blessed to be able to see and hear and experience the excitement of life all around me. I am thankful for the max line that took me there and back. I am thankful for my door being sealed this morning so the heat wont seep out the door. I'm thankful for the snaps of smiles and the silly Bitmoji that make me giggle with little girl joy. I'm thankful for the friendships and the smiles that come my way each and everyday. I am thankful that you meet all of my needs and even my desires. Thank you Lord for the many blessings in each day that you gift me with. Blessings
