Beautiful vintage cocoa cola machine.
Found this in an old building in downtown Portland while roaming around one afternoon.
Check out the price of a bottle.
And I am sure it was a bottle and not a can at this price.
Check out the date on the machine as well.
So.....
Sad to say I do remember these prices.

Boy I remember getting Coke in a bottle many years ago as a child.
In fact I remember collecting the bottles and taking them in for the deposit.
We would walk along the street and collect the bottles as kids.
My how times have changed.

Wow, what a fantastic find with that coke machine. It makes for a fabulous photo. Yes, I remember very well drinking coke from a bottle in our local coffee bar back in the 60's . The bottles were that lovely shape as well. We used to sit there all evening, with just one bottle with a straw, listening to the records on the juke box. Oh happy days!!
I haven't seen one like this in ages! Really sends me back.
