Saturday Centus~ "Thank you Beryl!"

The prompt this week is:   "Thank you Beryl!"
Number of words:  103.   (including the three words of the prompt)

Style of writing: Any
Additional Pictures: Any

This weeks challenge is extremely tough.
It is a prompt that is in honor of this person I know nothing about.
I wanted to do this prompt even though it is tough.
I wanted to give honor to this woman who is so loved by her family.
I pray that I do her justice.

Her name is as brilliant
As the stones which she was named after
Beryl
A rare gem
She was tough
She had to be
A mom
A wife in war time
It wasn't easy
But
She made the best of it
She lead her children by example
She didn't hide from difficulties
The war wasn't easy on her
Beryl had to make tough decision's
As many did in those day's
Many admired her
She never shrinked from responsibility
She always had a smile
Even when life was handing her lemons
Her smile was
For all who came across her path
Never did she shy away
A stranger she didn't know
 If in need
She was the first to help
She always thought
If it wasn't for the kindness of others
This could have been me
Yes
Times were tough
But Beryl was tougher
She lead by example
"Thank you Beryl!"

~Beth~

Well I wet well over the limit. Not sad I did.

Do you like to write about things you know or don't know?

Ankle
March 5,2013
Below are two fundraiser links to help with medical bills.
We have no medical insurance to cover medical.
As the weeks have gone by since I have started back to work
The ankle continues to have many issues
I will be seeking second opinion
With many prayers
I feel God is showing us
The direction to go.
God is faithful and I trust this is going to be paid in full;
and every need meet through Him
Thank you!

I love the line, 'times were tough but Beryl was tougher.'

Really interesting take on this difficult prompt.
