THE PROMPT THIS WEEK IS: I planted a little story seed...
WORD COUNT - Not to exceed 100 words, plus the six words of the prompt. 106 total maximum words.
STYLE OF WRITING - Any

I planted a seed today.....
A seed of love
Each day I get up
I ask my Lord to give me a seed
That seed comes in many forms
Some in patience's
In grace
Favor
Forgiveness
In life lessons
Teaching
Mercy
Comfort
Compassion
A smile
A tear wiped away
A friendship
Some are in tears
Some are in laughter
Some come in joy
Even some in sorrow
Some in celebrations of many kinds
Some are painful
Some are fun
Others go on and on
While some never last quite long enough
So many seeds that I receive to numerous to list
Each one a lesson
A gift of life
Just for today
Just what I need
Each a seed of love
A gift from the Father above
Each day a new seed
Just for today
Each one I will plant
Each one I will share
Some will grow and mature
While others I may never see
Some will grow and plant there own
While others will whither and die
Some will struggle
But...
With pray and love will grow just fine
I thank God everyday for each one
They make me who I am
Growing into who He has created me to be
A gift from heaven above
For me

~Beth~

Another one that has gone over the limit.
I think one needs to work on this limit of words.
I obliviously am having problem with that.
Hmmmmm..........
Need to learn to follow the rules!

What seeds have you planted lately?

Such a beautiful and inspiring poem especially to read this morning. Your words are well to be remembered in everything we do everyday....Thank you, and you'll get the numbers right....it's all in a days good reading ....and writing and sharing, we just keep doing, that's all that really matters in life!

It's sort of hard to pare down a piece as lovely as this. I think you are forgiven for having gone over!!

I sometimes have a hard time with the 100-word limit too, but the Centus has been good practice for me. It's helped me tighten up my word selection/economy skills, and I'm a better editor now.

Loved your theme.

=)

there are always exceptions to rules ... i try to stick to the 100 words as a challenge to myself, but i have been known to break the rules. and this piece could not have been pared down. and enjoyable read!!!

I have as hard a time editing my photos as my words. This was very thoughtful, too many words or not. :)

This is beautiful! You are a great writer. It wouldn't be the same song if you had used any more or less words! Nice job!

I for one, don't worry about the word limit when I am reading other's texts. Some things need to be written. I usually save my 'over-the-limit' texts in a post called 'ARCHIVE' because I may be able to use these discarded texts later.

Now, to your poem. It's lovely. You show us several of the many directions that this theme can go. Lots of deep images here. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry that I'm late with my comments for this challenge.

Best wishes,
Anna

This was beautiful. I don't think you could have cut this at all...each word was so well thought out and crafted!

Thanks for sharing your heart here.

This was a real gem.
