Letter "J" ~ Blogging from A to Z Challenge April 2013

"J"

Jewels

Many a jewel
Is uncovered
Through hard work and labor
Hidden deeply
Within the ground
Some are even
Formed in the deep sea
Of the ocean floor
Hidden for one to find
All Jewels
Come from
High pressure
And pain
How rare
Each one is
None the same
All rare
Each
Special and unique
Just as the Lord
Sees each one of us
His precious and rare
Jewels
Special and unique
Formed and crushed through
Much pain
As each flaw is revealed
Yet we are as rare
And pressured as any
Jewel found
Deep within the ground
Or ocean floor
More precious
Than silver and gold
As He sent
His only son

For us

~Beth~

Proverbs 20:15

There is gold and abundance of costly stones,
but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.

Do you have a favorite jewel? Do you have a time in your life that you felt like a jewel either going through the pressure of refining or the finished beauty?

Ankle View
March 27, 2013
Below are two fundraiser links to help with medical bills.
We have no medical insurance to cover medical.
As the weeks have gone by since I have started back to work
The ankle continues to have many issues
The cost of second opinion is much more than I realized
Doctor has discounted my pain meds
Many issues
Needing God's direction
With many prayers
I feel God is showing us
The direction to go.
God is faithful and I trust this is going to be paid in full;
and every need meet through Him
Thank you!

Lovely poem, Beth. Yes, I felt that way during my 2nd marriage ... it was a very rough time, but I came out of it stronger and better.

I like Opals and diamonds.

Hugs,

Kathy M.

P.S. - Beth, when I come over to visit, your page gets hi-jacked by a screen advertising online education. I have to get out of it to read your post. Just wanted you to know.

Thank you Kathy! I have been trying to change things an I dont know how to get rid of this problem. You and some others have let me know. And I dont know what to do. This could be why I am not having any comments or any one stopping by. I thought I got rid of spam but guess not thank you. When I get home tonight I will try and work on that again.
Have an awesome day Blessings
