Playdate With God~ Staples

STAPLES

This past Monday, was doctor visit to remove the staples out of ankle. There where some surprises that is for sure. I had only thought I had four screws in ankle turns out there are six. Two holding the bone together and the other four holding metal plate that holds bone in place. I now can say I'm a bit bionic. As all these screws and metal hold me together. When I was child, I use to love to watch the "Bionic Woman." Little did I realize I may have those parts put inside of me to help hold me together.
LOL!
That fantasy can become reality with all the new technology and advances in medicine.
Praise God for those advances and the differences they make in so many life's daily.

The Staples That They Removed
I was a bit nervous about having the staples removed. I was so afraid of the pain. Even with all the re-assurance that it wouldn't hurt. So when I saw the nurse pull out the special tool to pull them out I was a bit freaked out.  My girlfriend came and held my hand and talked me through it all. It felt a bit like needles pricking me. The ones that hurt the most where the ones were the skin is the thinnest down at the bottom of ankle near the foot. I think I was going to jump out of my skin. These foreign object's holding my skin together.
Now it was time for the next stage of healing to start.
Another month of being in-mobile.
Doesn't sound exactly fun.
But if it meant I would be walking again I could do it.
After they were removed it was on ward to the x-rays to see how I was mending.

X-rays Of Left Ankle

It really wasn't much fun getting the x-rays. As I had to put the foot in some most uncomfortable position's to get pictures of the healing process.
I had to re-do one. That wasn't so much fun.
But I made it through the process; and was rather delighted to hear I was healing and mending quit well.
With still a long road ahead I knew this was a step in the right direction.
Still I wouldn't be walking for awhile.
Still no weight nor walking will I be doing.
Keep foot high and keep resting as I have been doing.
Oh joy!
More bed resting.
But .......
My God was healing me and I knew that this progress was the result of His gift of His healing touch along with the doctors and those caring for me; who He gave the skills too.
The answered prayers of many that have been going up for me.
As well as my own determination to listen and do as told as I healed and listened to those who knew best for me at this time.

After Staple Removal
So as painful and not so fun as it was.
It was my playdate with God.
He gave me a good report and said I was right on track.
The staples removed and knowing that the next visit would lead to the time of learning to walk again.
How wonderfully we are designed and made.
How could I not see this as a perfect playdate with the one who first loved me

NKJV

Psalm 139:14

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Do you see His perfect designs in your daily life even when they aren't fun?

Below is two fundraiser links to help through this four months of recovery and medical bills. As I carried half the bills through my work.
We have no medical insurance to cover medical.
We are in the process of applying for help.
Through much prayers and through encouragement of some friends they suggested I give these a try.
Medical bills are piling up.
Just the few that have arrived already are near $30,000.
And still coming in.
God is faithful and I trust this is alp going to be paid in full;
and every need meet through Him
Thank you!
