Memories
It appears I'm very good at going down memory lane.
The past few days I seem to have been doing that quit a bit.
Music of the days of my youthful childhood right into my young adult hood.
From a teen with the world in front of her;
To the young woman that became a wife and mother in her early twenties.
Learning and living a life that wasn't one that she thought she would have.
Memories of days gone by.
With photos and stories for each one.
The memories we hold are precious and dear.
The cherished events that mold us and make us who we are today.
The memories of days gone by.
Wondering how they slipped away so quickly.
Trying to re-capture that youthful girl one more time
Through the eyes of a much older and wiser woman.
The memories she will cherish for a life time
And share with those she loves.
The memories of her life
Held in a time capsule of
Of boxes
With
Music
Photos
letters
Each one is sealed with tear drops of
Laughter
Joy
Heart-ache
Happiness
Laced with
Unexpected surprises
Sorrow
With the hope for a better tomorrow
Each new day gives way to another new cherished memory
The journey of a life
As I wander down memory lane
Do you have boxes of trinkets and photos that you have held onto through the years?

Yes - I love look through old photos and letters. I have a batch of letters right now that my Great Grandmother wrote to my Great Aunt many years ago. I'm going to transcribe them and give them to family.
I enjoy that trip through photo albums. My grandma always kept a bunch out for viewing at every family function. Through this, we made made memories of memories. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
I have so many boxes filled with mementos and photos it is unbelievable. Every once in a while I love to lose myself in them and just remember. Visiting from the A-Z. Good luck with the rest of the alphabet.
