Love
I was going through some old papers and found a bunch of poetry and other things that I had wrote when I was in school; along with other writing that I had wrote throughout the years.
I found this one on a first love.
Or I should say a teenager in love or what she thought was love anyways.
WOW!
How we see things so differently when we are young.
Through the eyes and window of a youthful girl.
Boy how things change the older we get.
This was wrote when I was a Sophomore in High School.
Truly knowing nothing about love yet the innocents of the love is so pure.
Why do I love you
I'll never now why
Yet I love you
Why do I love you
Because of your
Beautiful big brown eyes
Or is it your long straight silky dark brown hair
Do I love you because of your smile
Or is it your big strong body
Do I love you because of your personality
Or is it because it is the way you are
Yes
I know why I love you
Because you are what you are
And you are beautiful

Been there. It is like a blast from a past I either don't remember or have tried hard to forget. It is amazing how awful and cheesy some of the things we said while "in high school love" Lol. I am a new follower from the challenge.
Beyond sweet.
'Truly a teenager in love.' I loved that quote, so honest and so simple. Teenagers in love can be the most sappy, beautiful, brutal and outright painful sort of love I've ever seen. You captured that well. My hat is off to you.
