A Moon Slice From Heaven

The moon was just breath taking tonight and last night as well. So I was determined to get a few moon shots tonight. I need to get my fancy camera out and learn to use it. I think I would get better shots of moons and other objects that I want. But with the cell not a bad photo really. I wish you all could have seen the sky and how beautiful it was this evening. I didn't get any of those I was so focused on the moon and getting laundry done tonight. I know if there was moisture in the sky we would have snow. It is bitterly cold here in the PNW.

As you can see the heavenly moon slice from heaven. I love this picture. I do believe this is my favorite out of all of them.

As you see the sky was putting on a beautiful show. The moon sky slice of heaven for sure. I just love how the Lord places the beauty right before us to enjoy. So we slow down and enjoy our lives and what is before us. As I get older I realize how important it is to really slow down and enjoy those He has placed in our lives and to enjoy the rich beauty of the is old world He has given us. No sense in rushing through it. How can you appreciate and enjoy it if we are rushing through.

These last two I got the star in the photo as well. I think that is so cool how the star lines up right under the moon. I know that star has a name and for the live of me I cannot remember the name of it. If you do please post thank you in the comment area.

beautiful!!! I think it is the North Star but not sure, that is what dad always says the one under the moon is the north one
