Lent Season ~ Thankful List/Verse With Prayer: Day 36

So I had all the intentions of staying on top of my blog and the Lent season this week. Then yesterday went all haywire. It started off even a bit interesting. My two older girls were in a bit of a struggle an calling and talking with me. I did get to the gym which I'm so thankful for. I was enjoying the break in the rain. I then got phone call from Sacramento that my middle daughter Amber was in the hospital. Needless to say; I was useless after that. Was hard for me to focus. All I wanted to do is hijack a plane and get myself down there to be with her. Thank God she is okay! Her sister Heather never left her side. Sisters love is so special. Hubby and just relaxed and waited near the phone. Finally I went to bed realizing I wouldn't know anything until today.

Thankful List Of Five

  1. Breaks in the rain
  2. Telephone's
  3. Gods grace, mercy and healing hand
  4. Prayers of the saints that stand in the gap with you
  5. The touch of my Savior that lulls me to sleep

John 8:12

"I m the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

Father, what you have to say to us is vital. Help us to listen; help us to hear.

Do your children live far or near from you?

I can imagine how worried you must have been about Amber my friend. How wonderful that her sister was there with her like that. One of my daughters lives only five minutes away (with the two youngest grandchildren) and my older daughter lives near Paris (with my 14 year old granddaughter). They manage to visit fairly frequently, so I always count my blessings for that.
