Teaching and guiding
Training them up the way they should go
Never letting up
Knowing what was best
Just like my momma was
Loving them
Praying for them
Teaching them the ways of the Lord
Just like my momma was
Letting them go
Knowing my job I have done
Seeing the fruits of the labor of love
Now it is your turn
My dear daughters

As each grows and learns

Just like my mamma, I love cornbread and black eyed peas, I love the music rain makes on a tin roof, that spent achy feeling you get after a hard day of doing something you love.
