My heart leaps at the place of peace
That I once enjoyed on the river bank
As I observed the beauty that surrounded me
Time has erode the peaceful place
That once was filled with miles of beauty

Do you ever go and visit places that brought you such peace and joy and found through time the eroding has taken over the beauty that once was there? |

Yes, but more often than that I've seen places become even more beautiful as new and exciting life around it has either sprung up, or just gotten bigger .....trees filling out.....baby sprouts about.....we live in a magical place....
Karen S. I would agree with you on that statement whole heartly!
Blessings
So so good...
Love the way you have used those three words today my friend! Hugs.
I'm sorry to hear that, but very well said!
how sad I hope you can find the peace there again
Sadly the place I write about has become a homeless camp. Not at all what was when I was a young girl.
