My heart leaps at the place of peace
That I once enjoyed on the river bank
As I observed the beauty that surrounded me
Time has erode the peaceful place
That once was filled with miles of beauty

~ Beth ~

Do you ever go and visit places that brought you such peace and joy and found through time the eroding has taken over the beauty that once was there?

Sadly the place I write about has become a homeless camp. Not at all what was when I was a young girl.
