Afternoon At Marina

For my moms birthday I drove up yesterday after work. 

It was a long hard drive as I was so tried from a long week and little sleep.

Hit some traffic and rain but not to bad of a drive over all.

Never fun and wanted to arrive before dark.

Yea!
I did!

It was her birthday and I wanted to be here for her special day.

So tried we just ate at home and went to bed early.

Which was perfect.

So today I took her to lunch where ever she wanted to go.

A place called the "Fish House."

The food was very yummy!
Very rich!
If ever in the area I might suggest you try this place out.

Wonderful service as well as the food!
Hefty portions as well.

Couldn't eat it all so boxed it up for later.

I walked around on the Marina waterfront. after we walked around the city a bit.

It was a beautiful afternoon.

I couldn't get enough of the beauty.

I just wanted to share these three unique photos yet the same.

These three are variations of the same site on the water.

I couldn't make up my mind as I thought all three were unique in their own way.

I just love how each one came out slightly different.

I really am amazed how well my little camera on my phone takes photos.

I almost think I could do away with my fancy camera.

I do want to learn more on how to use it though.

I think there are more settings on my phone as well.

I am learning so much by just snapping away.

What fun it is too!

I'm also thinking I'd like another one that is more pocket size.

It truly is a hard decision.

I keep looking at them and still cannot decide.

Day 31

A gift on paper, in person, in a picture

Gift on paper would be my new ID yea it came yesterday in the mail. So glad to have that in hand. Not really sure if it would be called paper. It was at one time. But any rate I am grateful for it!

In person is seeing my mom and spending time with her. I can hardly wait to get off work to be with her. It has been much to long. Happy Birthday to my beautiful mom!

In a picture is all the pictures my daughters share with me and others in social media that are priceless as I live so far away from them all. I love seeing them and it is the next best thing to being there. Yesterday was one of my Brendeen hanging up side down caught up on a fence he was climbing so funny!

1. My moms red stapler sitting on her work desk. Staplers always come in handy!

2. The pretty red flowers mom gave me in the awesome gold vase.

3. My pretty red "Michael Kors" purse! I just love it!
