365 Days Of Pictures ~Day 94

Lake Shasta, California
May 22, 2011
Stopped and took this picture after we crossed the bridge. We drove down a dirt road into an area where you hiked into the lake. It was a great place to get some photos.
You could see where others where relaxing by the water side down at the bottom.
I was thinking how I wish I had time to do so myself.
Another time and another trip.
It was a beautiful afternoon.
The lake looks so inviting.
Peaceful Rest

Do you like to hike into secluded areas that you can rest and regroup for the wild and crazy rush of the world?

Wondered where you'd got to lately. Hope you had a nice trip. The lake looks lovely.
A hike into seclusion to get away from the crazy world - I wish, this would have to be my idea of bliss.

I'm glad you had a nice trip and that lake is beautiful. I may be back among the living. I got some helpful advice from a friend. I've posted it where everyone can read it. Yay it worked too. We'll say a prayer together.. Blessings to you Beth... Susie

What a beautiful place! For me, there's nothing like a walk in the woods to replenish my energy. Just peace and quiet, with the birds and squirrels...and God's spirit.

Very pretty picture of the lake. I would like to go there one day. I actually live in the state.
