There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God
So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them?
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God
So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them?
My neighbor is always dressing her door for the current holiday event or season. It always speaks to me and says welcome with much love. My neighbor is amazing lady! I have been blessed with wonderful neighbors along with her; I have several others that are blessings to my family and I as well. They all seem to represent some small part of Gods loving heart as well as his loving touch.
We all seem to watch over and keep a watchful eye out for one another in our little community here at the Village. It makes me feel so loved and protected in my little community of neighbors.
But her door reflects her and her love of the Lord. She is defiantly a reflection of Gods finger print. So I decided to highlight her door on "Finger Print Friday". Because I see His fingerprint on her door and her life daily. She truly is a walking testimony of His love.
It is always welcoming and full of love. When she opens it with her beautiful smile you know that you are welcome and she is delighted you stop by for a bit of cheer and conversation. She truly is a finger print of God to me. Just as God stands at our door knocking.
NIV
Revelations 3:20
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

That's great to have such loving neighbors, and a pretty door adds to the welcome! My mom lived near us the last 2 years of her life, in a retirement community with individual apartments, and everyone had their kitchen window sills decorated for each season/holiday. It was such a warm inviting feeling to walk down the hallways and see all the different pretty decorations.
That's a real blessing indeed that you have such loving and caring neighbours. I love the door decoration as well. What a good idea to dress it for each holiday event. I tend to only do it at Christmas.
I love Steven Curtis Chapman - our first dance was to one of his songs and I've seen him twice in concert. He and his wife are wonderful people of God. My next door neighbors decided that they would be my Marysville parents when I moved here - they always have an open door, a hug, and a warm hearth to share.
Great picture & I LOVE the "Finger Prints of God"! I just posted some snow photo's on my blog and after I read finger print of God it really made me think how nature is exactly that: one of His masterpieces! Thanks for sharing!
You are one of my many blessings. I love you very much and can't thank you enough for being the most awesome friend, mentor and a-kicker a girl could ever need or want.
