Well Miss R. I'm glad you don't have to go out into the snow. (Smiles) That you are surely enjoying the beautiful snow that is falling and layering it self around the ground. As the crispness in the air and the little white flakes gently fall I'm awaiting news as to whether I can drive I-84.
With the road conditions as they are in the Columbia Gorge, especially the Cascade Locks area one will not be traveling without chains.
Many phone calls to road hazard conditions as well as Internet road trip check. Don't leave home without it.

Miss R. it appears I will be making a trip to buy chains for the car. Chains required for travel. As I normally don't travel in these weather conditions. I now must go purchase some chains. Me oh my! I don't even know how to put them on! YIKES! I guess today is as good a day as any to learn. Hahaha!
They are cleaning roads with plows as I type away this morning.
I'm truly not a fan of the snow unless I know I'm safely tucked away in a nice safe warm spot to enjoy it on my terms.
Miss R. you know I'm not a huge fan as you know. Unless I'm inside and I don't have too. And as it appears I have to be in it to get home this fine beautiful Sunday. Praying it will warm up enough. I'm as well hoping for a bit of rain to turn it at least into slush so I may get home. Will that be enough to turn the snow through the Gorge to slush? I can only pray so Miss R.
Fridays journey down here which was a two hour drive that normally only takes about 45 minutes. Was a road trip I wont soon forget Miss R. The road conditions where very bad on Friday.
Accident after accident lined up on the road. Later, that evening I had heard there had been a total of 26 from point A to B. Yes! That would be my normal 45 minute drive turned into a two hour nightmare. With the prayers of the Saints carrying me in. The Angels of the Lord were all around me as I traveled. I trust in Him.
Yes! Miss R. it appears it will be another two hour drive with the Lords hand encamped about and leading. With more prayers from the Saints. The Angels of the Lord will be about me as I travel towards home. Trusting in Him as I await the perfect time to start this journey towards my hubby and CK girl. So here I sit in my beautiful sisters home awaiting for the heat of the day. Drinking a nice hot cup of coffee!
Oh yea! Miss R. the whooping high of....40. As the little white flakes continue to float down and hit the cold cold ground. Will they stick or melt? I ask myself. Do I have a chance to get home today at all?
With this in mind Miss R. I will not be enjoying the thought of I don't have to because I have too. I have to come home to my hubby who awaits and my old gal who lovingly moons over me even while I'm at work for even a few hours everyday.
So I can say today I wont be enjoying the beauty of the snow. But.... Alas awaiting news of whether I will be able to get home before dark. As I surely will not be driving in the darkness. I prefer day on these roads and the conditions they are in. So for me I sit and wait in anticipation of going home.
Miss R. enjoy the beauty and the crisp newness of the life that it holds underneath the white blanket of cold. As underneath lays the new birth of life yet to come. As Winter leaves us, Spring and all its beauty will spring forth.
So I remind myself that this is just a season in my journey that I must stop and enjoy the beauty of life yet born into Spring. Just like when we are all reborn into His likeness and love Miss R.
NKJV
1Peter 22-25
Since you have been purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible through the word of God which lives and abides forever, because
"All flesh is as grass,
And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass.
The grass withers, And its flower falls away,
But the word of the Lord endures forever."
Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.
As the day dwindles on Miss R. in the hopes of coming home I ask that all you pray for my safe journey's home.
Love you. Blessings
What is your response to the snow that WILL NOT! Go away or the weather that you wish was Spring and Summer?

Oh dear, decisions, decisions. To drive home, or not to drive home! I do hope that it all works out for you and that you get safely home. Like you, the snow looks pretty, but I certainly don't like it if you have to be out and about in it! Take care and keep warm.
Hey Miss B.
Glad you were able to find a way to enjoy it:)
Love you!
Miss R.
