Excitement and joy over come me as I'm headed to California to see the grandchildren and to celebrate my daughters accomplishment. As of the 17th of this month she will graduate from nursing school as an RN.
This mom could not be more proud or thrilled.
It has been a long road to the finish line! She has excelled and has overcome many a bumpy roads along the path and has preserved. As we all do to the road of accomplishment and success.
The road down the highway is beautiful!
I think of all the things through life as we all have preserved and accomplished many goals and dreams. Some we may not of even had on our list to accomplish or achieve through the years. But over came! We over come obstacles that would break many. But the road is what makes and molds us into who God created us to be. Each chiseling a a road and path that is uniquely us and who we are.

I thank God for this time of reflection in my own life as I travel down. I'm sure my daughter is having many of her own this day and up coming ones as she arrives on the day of completion.
Our roads we travel may not be as beautiful as this highway but the end result is beauty that we couldn't dream or imagine.
I'm thankful for the roads that have brought me to this day. They have not always been easy as I'm sure they have not been for my daughter. But the end result is so worth the hard work and the preserving.

Hi Bethe. So sorry I'm late in posting a comment, but what with Blogger being down all day on Friday and then me being away for the weekend, it's been a bit hectic. I am so thrilled for your daughter. Congratulations to her, and I can just imagine what a proud mum you will be! And getting to see the grandchildren as well - win, win, as far as I can see!
