365 Days Of Pictures ~Day 3

Meet Miss B. She is one of the very delightful lady's I have the honor and privilege of making beautiful every week at an Adult Foster Care Home through my business of
"Have Hair Will Travel".
I go into Adult Foster Care homes and to those who cannot otherwise get out and get their hair done. I just love being able to do that. It is truly a blessing and privilege to do so.
I have been doing hair for 30years now. I would have never dreamed that the passion I have for doing these sweet lady's hair would be where my cosmetology would have taken me, so many years ago. Nor can I imagine doing anything else.
I as well have my hair salon that I work at twice a week at an assisted care home.
"Beth's Beauty Shop".
I have been there now for over three years. I came out of semi retirement from doing hair. I had decided I wasn't going to do hair any longer.
It was defiantly the calling of the Lord. This is the shop my hubby lovingly calls, "God's Waiting Room". Though he does think all of the work I do is a part of "God's Waiting Room".
Loving dubbed.
I also do some fill work for another place called
"The Fountain" when they need me. I just started there not long ago.
I never know when I will get to work for them just when they need me.
The Fountain is an assisted home as well.
I think I have the best job in the world.
I was hired by the "KING" Himself. I know that in my heart as we have had many a long conversations about this. He has assured me in my prayer time I am right where I need to be.
And Yes! There is a great need for this area of service. So if you know any one in the hair business that loves working with the elderly and doesn't mind traveling. It is an open door of opportunity.

Miss B.

Do you have a job you love that you thought you'd never be doing?
