I don't know if you would call this a family tradition or not.
But it was one started by my grandma and carried on through the many years to this day.
Every kid would get a book of life savers candy.
We all would look so forward to that sweet candy treasure.
My daughters would usually end up with two books.
One from me and then their grandma Webber.
So apparently this is a long standing tradition for many families to receive those sweet treats of books.
My grandchildren get them as well. Their moms get them for them.
So I would say this would be one sweet book of lifesaver treasure.
My favorite flavor was root beer.
