The day is complete!
Dinner served!
Guest left;

Food delivered to the Vet tech who had to work;

Nephew dropped in for a surprise visit.

{The best part of my Thanksgiving was seeing my nephew.}

I helped to raise him and he has a big part of my heart.

So anytime I get to see him and spend time with him is great!

It is always a good day when I see him.

Now whats left is the cleaning and putting away for another year.

Well...

That isn't completely true either.

You see the 49er's are playing tonight.

I'm a fan!

My husband is ...

Well....

I will just say he is a bit over the top where sports are concerned.

And when it comes to his team.....

That is entirely another story.

Yes!
It is true.

I am a widow to the sports addicted husband.

This is a unique game tonight with brothers coaching the two opposing teams;

 And if the 49er,s clench this game and win they are in the play offs.

So this is a Big game tonight!

In our house anyways.

It truly was a nice day!
It started with hot coffee and visit from our dear Katherine.

She showed me what I was doing wrong with my Wii.

Then the preparations of putting all the food out and warming the dinner up.

Yes!
You heard right!
I pre-ordered dinner.

So That I might enjoy the day and visit with those I love.

I had more food than guest!

So it appears I wont be cooking for the next week.

We put up the ramp for him to get in.

We made our own wheelchair accessible ramp.

It was wonderful having John over for the Thanksgiving festivities.

CK was smitten with him of course.

She just loves John,

And him with her.

You Have Goodies To Share..?

There where plenty of pictures taken throughout the afternoon.

Just wish we could have gotten one of all three of us.

I still need to learn how to set a timer on the camera to do that.

{A must learn project}

When my nephew John came by;

CK was very happy!
Two best buddies together once again.

Buried In Love For One Another

Missing my children and grandchildren.

As well as hubby and I are missing our families.

We may not be able to celebrate with them like we did when we lived in California;

But phone calls of love and sharing are spent on the phone wishing one another the happiest of Thanksgivings.

The tables change over the years;

As we move and families grow and loss takes place

But....

The love we share and the times we have with each other never do.

We treasure the memories and the new ones made.

Day 24

For friends and family that come and sit at our home.

That bring their love and warmth that no one else can.

For the food on the table and being able to be a blessing to someone who had to work.

The love and laughter of sharing stories of days gone by.

For the gift of those who selflessly work so others might enjoy the day.

For the men and women who serve their communities, with the heart of the Lord.

Each little laughter that brings a warm touch to my heart.

So much to be thankful for each and everyday.

Some days you could go on and on.

Thank you Lord for the breathe I breath each day and the song in my heart.
