Day 6
Can you believe we are already on day six of our journey.
The time passes so fast.
And can I say;
That I never would have believed that ever when I was younger.
We hurry up to go to school
We hurry up to go to middle and high school.
Then its to be a teenager.
To get our license and drive a car.
Hurry up to be 16 because that's when every wonderful thing happens.
Our first dates first kisses.
For some our first jobs.
The first steps into adult hood.
Then we hurry up to be 18.
But...that isn't good enough either;
Then we must be 21 because we are legal for everything in life then.
We are responsible legal adults.
Hurry...
Hurry...
Hurry...
Mom use to say why hurry;
Life will go fast enough soon enough.
Boy!
She wasn't kidding either.
It seems since the first moment of motherhood my life has slipped by quicker and quicker every year.
Each moment I try to hold on and capture just a second longer, of each passing moment.
For once it is gone I can never get it back.
We each get a 24 hour day which equals (86,400 seconds);
What we choose to do with them is our choice.
So choose wisely and invest completely in the things that last into eternity.
For we only pass by this moment once never to capture it again.
Live wisely and full with no regrets.
Fully and completely in the moment in love with each second of each day.
We are not promised tomorrow.
Make it the memory of a life time for all those who love you that are around you.
So take the time smell the rose's and enjoy the journey that God has blessed us with.
Even when things aren't going according to plan.
He that spoke the world into existence has a plan more beautiful that we could ever design for ourselves.
I wonder how it could possible go any faster than it already is.
But if we look at in the light of God;
WOW!
NKJV
2 Peter 3:8-9
But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
So I never know what I'm going to write until I sit down and start typing. I had no idea what was going to flow out of me and guess what this is it.
Today was another day that didn't go according to plan.
I got up to go to work.
At my salon we only have one dryer and guess what? It was broken! They had to order the part out of Chicago.
So home I went.
So I unexpectedly got to spend some extra time at home with hubby today as this was one of his days off.
But tomorrow is a new day and it is going to be extremely full as will be Friday so I will need many prayers thank you.
Today's devotional
Lord, teach me to listen. Help me to creatively wait in they presence. May thy voice find mine a listening ear.
~Revelation 3:20
"I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."
Day 2
Time with hubby that was very unexpected.
We went and got some under armour.
We are both trying it for the first time.
I also got a long sleeved white T~shirt.
Hubby cooked dinner for us.
Or I should say BBQ the steaks and made rice with veggies.
I would say this was a blessed day with hubby!
