The thread of life
Gives way to many
Twist  and turns
With threads of colors
Running through each day
Making memories
As life takes its twist and turns

One may prefer gold
Over ones time in life
With each treasured memory
Through the journey of  life
With all of its twist and turns

The preference of a finer life
We prefer the finer things
That life has to offer
As we make the twist and turns
In this life of ours

As the threads of life take hold
With each twist and turn
With a  firm grip
Of ones life
Each memory is made

A life time of memories
Each one threaded through
In colors
Finished with fine gold
Each having a grip on the soul
As each day
Makes its twist and turns

The repetition of the word 'thread' added a feeling of every part being joined to another.
