Fingerprint Friday
There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of god
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of god
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of god
So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join in.

This past Tuesday was National Night Out. It was our first neighborhood event. I must say it turned out extremely well. I have some more post coming up about it. But I really wanted one just for CK and her friend Monty. They are the old fur babies in the crowd and neighborhood. I believe Monty is 18 and of course CK girl is 14. Both are such troopers. The Queen and King of the evening.
They where invited to the party, as long as they behaved and where on leash. I think that they were the hit of the event. As small, big, young, and old all wanted to be around them both and catch a bit of that dogie loving that only they can give.
Miss CK got a bit yippee which was great! Her little personality coming out.
The law enforcement fell in love with her. Kept coming over talking to her and petting her. She was eating it up of course. I had her tied to the raffle table where I was in charge of raffling off the donation's.
Which I think she liked very much as it was next to the food table. She could sniff and just get close enough to put her noise in the air to catch a nice whiff of the yummy food being served. It was so cute!
I took plenty of pictures of course. So I have lots of picture's to tell many stories with. I had been asked to take picture's since I enjoy taking picture's so much. My neighbors always see me out with the camera all the time having fun! So tonight I was taking them for our neighborhood watch monthly news letter. I was very excited to say yes!
I think I have a lot to learn still, but had so much fun taking the picture's. The City's photographer was there with her beautiful fancy camera I can only imagine how beautiful her shots where. But I have several here that I have chosen to tell CK's adventure out with me on National Night Out along with her friend Monty who lives next door to us.
CK had a grand time out! She was spoiled like the little old queen dog she is. She even had hots dogs served to her from some of the ladies and children.
I'm thinking this Ol' girl is a bit spoiled!

Jeremiah 31:34
No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for they shall know Me; from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more."
If you have pets that you can take to events do you like to bring them along?

Such cute doggies! Happy Fingerprint Friday!
Bethe,
thank you so much for the lovely pics and for posting for CK I love my pets as my kids. :)
Now about that fancy camera pffft I can get just as good of pictures with my 69.00 camera as some can with all that fancy stuff. It's really not the equipment being used but the eye that is taking it.
Hope your weekend is great
Blessings

Love the photos, especially the ones with the fire hat. So cute. It is wonderful when people can get together and have a good time. It lightens the heart when you hear about the goodtimes people have.
Beth, you KNOW how much I LOVE dogs, especially my own! My male Pookie (cuz he is such a goof hehe) is 10 now. And my beautiful female that has been the absolute love of my life is named Grace. Humble and Full of Grace to be exact. This name was already registered for her when my former husband and I got her in 1995. She is about 14 now. She has arthritis and dementia, so she needs lots of extra love and patience. It is truly my honor to love her and help her along. I'm really working towards improving her conditions as much as possible and giving her the best quality of life that I possibly can. I wish I had taken more pictures of her during her life. I'm just not that big on pictures and now I regret it. But I have already started taking more and I hope it's a habit that sticks with me. Thank you Beth for sharing your pictures, it made me smile. Love you! Kristi
Looks like everyone had a great time. Thanks for sharing. Have the best weekend ever and MAKE IT A BLESSED SUNDAY.
