Day 26 - A picture of something that means a lot to you.

CK & Her Babies

Day 26 - A picture of something that means a lot to you.

As I was thinking what I wanted to post here many things came to mind. Family seemed the natural choice. But then I thought well isn't that a give me. Of course they mean a lot to me.
Then the other natural thought went towards my friend's who are such a world of support, source of inspiration, and the family God gave me that I wasn't born into. Who love me the way He loves me.
So then I thought of things that where important to me.
My work is very important to me. I love what I do and I enjoy being able to help others. In all areas of my work from selling Mary Kay, Owning a Salon that I'm able to bless the elderly at, to traveling to Adult Foster care to help them in their hair care, To being a Care Giver. I thought Okay that is a normal thing not wanting to live without.WORK!
So then I thought maybe my car. Well, one cannot get around well without car. But I could if I had too; and have. Not as easy thing but can be manged and done. Would rather NOT!
A roof over my head. Another give me I thought. All these items I could not imagine being without and they mean allot to me.
Things? I have many things. I have things that put a smile on my face and I'm glad I have them. There are those things that make my life easier because of them. So many things to choose from.
Still thinking!
So then I was sitting with the beautiful CK girl. She is old. Very old in dog years She is a whooping 98. We lost our old boy just before his 11th birthday which would have made him 77. He was such a joy to our family as CK is. The were such good friends and playmates.
The richness that our pets have brought into our life has been unmeasurable.
Pets bring so much to a family. They add so much richness and unconditional love. Such a very sweet reminder of the love the Lord bestows upon us so richly everyday.

CK Napping

Pets bring so much love and joy into a home.
Our pets love us no matter what. They are excited to spend time with us to greet us. They are eager to please us. To go with us where ever we go.
I see my Father in heaven much the same way. He loves me no matter what. He is always eager to sit and listen to me and spend time with me. He is always bestowing His very best upon us to please us. he loves me unconditionally. He always wants  to be with me and go with me.
So I have chosen my CK girl as the one thing that means allot to me. As she adds the beautiful sweet richness and reminder of how I'm loved everyday by her and the Father above.
Job 12-7-10
"But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In His hand is life of every creature and the breath of all mankind."

Do you have a treasured pet?
