So okay is there ever such a thing as a cute picture of something that you cannot stand and are fearful of. I would say not. Would you have one ready to share? I would say NOT! I looked and looked. Not a cute reptile or snake to had as far as I could tell.
Very evil and scary to me. Though I have handled them and have had friends that have had these horrible creatures as pets. Not for me! But ..... I have had the opportunity to get over the fear of handling them.
Like when you work in pets stores; there is this thing called needing to be to handle the work. Not my choice or preference. YIKES!
Almost as horrible and scary as the mice. Oh yea! Snakes eat the mice. Could they possible be my friends.NOT! So.... YES! I am afraid of snakes. Even still after handling them with friends that have them as pets and working in a pet store. (That was a great job, by the way.)
NO! NOT NEVER EVER! NOT ME! Dislike snakes very very much!
They are beautiful in color. They have a purpose I'm sure. But not with me.
I guess there is a reason Satan is represented as a serpent in the word of God. Because snakes are so cunning and have been mentioned in several different ways in the bible. I have picked two Scriptures to share on snakes. I would suggest a wonderful word study on snake. I'm thinking there would be some real interesting revelation going on.
Mind you I'm no fan of the snake. But it is most interesting how the "Word Of God" depicts snake/serpent and is used in numerous ways. The relation to Satan the old crafty devil himself. The use of how the serpent was used for Moses to help set the Israelite's free. How we are to be as shrewd as but as innocent. How we can be lead astray. All very interesting and useful to the knowledge of growing in the things of God. The book of revelations has massive amounts of information regrading the sue of snake and serpent.
Hmmm.......
Matthew 10:16
"I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.
Revelation 12:9
The great dragon was hurled down-that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
Have you ever handled a snake?
