Day 29 - A picture that can always make you smile.
My dear friend Carol made this picture for me. Her and I are Mary Kay consultant sisters together.
She and I both have strifed to become Red Jacket girls.
To encourage me she made this wonderful picture of her and I in our "Red Jackets", together form a postcard with models wearing the jackets. She removed them and put our heads on them.
Though the photo is dated. It always brings a smile to my face. I have it sitting in my office.
I don't think a day goes by that I don't look at it and there goes that smile once again.
I also the words of encouragement on the photo as well.
Whether your a Mary Kay girl, or just living your dream. Or striving to make your dreams come true where every you are. It is up to us to make them happen by moving forward each day one step at a time.
It reminds me of what my dad use to tell me when I was a young girl.
"The only thing stopping you from becoming what you want and doing in your life is you and whats between your ears." I believe that is truth.
As I have followed my dreams and I see that it is what I choose to do daily that will bring me to where I want to go. Or prevent me from moving forward towards that goal of success that I'm striving for. So it is my daily actions towards the day of my success that will make it the success and dream that I have inside of me. The choices I chose to do to create the dream story of my life.
That is what you hear in every success story in life.
So I love the words on the postcard picture as well.
