Lent Letter's to God~ I

For Lent I have committed to writing God a letter everyday. Not the one the one that I'm begging and pleading for help and the heart cries of a mother. or the ones that I send up every time I need Him cause I just created another mess because I forgot to invite Him and join me on what I was doing. Or the one that is asking for prayers for loved ones and all the various other prayers one could be praying in ones prayer closet.
I was thinking and thinking I don't do well on giving things up. I do volunteer a bit already. So those all seemed to be already covered in the daily activities or events. Then I thought yes! I pray do pray everyday. But wouldn't it be cool to post a letter to god everyday durning Lent. Not sure what they will contain as I will write and pray this letter as I write it. I thought it would be cool to post. Because so many of us aren't truly sure how to talk with God. Well... I'm not the great at it either. But I do talk to Him like He is my best friend. So if you want to join in with me on this 40 day writing event durning Lent please feel free to jump in with me. Id say link up but I have no clue how to do that. I tried it with on project already and it didn't go well. So just write and let me know and I will come and read your letter too.

Seize the Moment

Dear God,
Tonight I wanted to do something that would give you honor and glory for doing all that you do for me. I know that I don't always say thank you for all that you do. So first let me say thank you for all that you do. Which is more than I even know I'm sure.
I'm under taking this letter writing to you for the next 40 days and am looking forward to seeing how I will be drawing closer to you and my growth during this Lent season.
I'm not really sure what I'm going to be writing about to you Lord. But I know that I don't want them to be about me pleading with you or asking for one more thing. I do that all day most of the time.
So I was wondering God, Could you help me out here and give me some clues on what I will be talking to you about.
I know how much you love me. I know your promises are true. That you hold me in the Palm of your hand. you cover me with the blood of your Son. That you will never leave me or forsake me or leave me begging for bread. I know so much yet so little Lord.
So durning this time together I'm looking forward to learning more about you as we have this letter writing conversation's/ I'm praying many others will  want to join in and draw closer as well.
It brings me joy to know that you brought me to this place and put this project in my heart. Not sure where it is leading to or what we are going to learn but I love this journey you are taking me on.
Lord today you brought a Doctor to my salon. I cut his hair and He told me amazing miracle's of your love. What you have done for so many around the world. One was  this mans wife. Thank you Lord for bringing him into the shop today to get his haircut  I so enjoyed meeting him and speaking with him. I loved hearing his stories that he shared with me. The lives changed because of the sharing of the gospel and the truth that it holds about you being our Lord and Savior the one and only true God!
You are such an awesome God! I never grow tried hearing the stories about what you have done.
I just wish more people could see and understand you and see you as I do. Or at least know the love that I do because of you and what your son did so that I might know you as my Lord and Savior.
Thank you to lord for the many wonderful readers that you have brought to my blog and those that are going to join in on the journey. I look forward to meeting them and reading their letters as well.
We all have a different walk Lord but I think it represents the many facets of the diamonds in your love for us.
I love you Lord and Look forward to meeting with you tomorrow once again.
This is Beth signing off.
PS I will see you in evening prayers and meet you in my dreams.
