Finger Print Friday~ Heather's Graduation

Fingerprint Friday Hosted By Beki over at The Rusted Chain

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join:

1. Blog with your interpretation of God's fingerprints. Be sure to link back Beki over at The Rusted Chain  http://www.blog.therustedchain.com/ so others can find the entire list of participants.
2. After you've posted your blog, sign the Linky. Have fun exploring the other links as well!
Please sign in only if you're participating. Hopefully this will make us look at things through fresh eyes throughout the week.

Hand Of Accomplishment

The reason for my trip to Sacramento besides loving on my beautiful daughters and grandchildren was to celebrate the huge accomplishment of Heather.
She graduated from Carrington College on July 14, 2011
At the Memorial Auditorium
With a certificate in Surgical Technology
I am so very proud of her and her huge achievement.
Congratulations Heather!

She is a single mom struggling to make ends meet.
As so many do these days.
I'm super proud of her and her accomplishment's.
As well as her two sisters who have accomplished nursing degree and optical care.
They all have made such huge achievements and accomplishments in their lives.
But today is about Heather.
Heather is mother to four of the beautiful grandchildren that I am blessed with.
Mother to my oldest grandson Anthony, which many of you have read about in some of my blog post.
As well as my two youngest granddaughters and the youngest grandson.
She went back to school after being apart of the first wave of the economy fall when all the car dealer ships where closing down.
She was one of those effected from the closers; she was in a management position doing accounts receivable and payable.
She was just coming off paternity leave from the birth of Brenden when she was notify that she didn't have a job to come back too.
SHOCK!
Life has been extremely hard for her ever since.
As I know many in this economy down fall have faced same fates and hard times as well.
But she is a fighter and she prayed and went back to school.
It has been a tough road as the children rage in ages of 2 yrs, 4 yrs, 7yrs, and 14yrs of age.
So juggling home, school, childcare among a fee of the wonders of motherhood and single parenting;
she really didn't want to do this graduation walk.
I'm so glad she did.
What an honor!
I encouraged her to do so; knowing she would be glad she did do this walk.
As she had a lot to be proud of and it was worth the time to do this.
So she found out more details and I bought my ticket to be there to applaud her and her awesome achievement.
I wouldn't have missed it for anything.
I know she is glad she did as well.
She has been out of school for 7 months and working for Sierra Eye And Tissue Donor Service's.

Getting Ready For The Big Event

It was a beautiful late afternoon early evening of events.
All four of the children and myself where there.
One of her friends from church came as well.
It was fun to watch the children look for their mom in Auditorium full of graduating students and their families.
The cheering and applauding of much love from all.
What fun it was!
{I will be posting more pictures of this event in future post, as Anthony and the children had some fun with moms cap and gown.}
But the finger print of her accomplishment and the work she does to bring life to those through the Donor Services that she works for is truly a finger print of God's love.
Life's are changed because of those that have made the choice of a gift of donation after life to those here who are in great need.
Thank you to those who have made that decision and to their families!
