Playdate~ Seal-A-Meal

My play date was watching my hubby act like a little child with a new toy. We have had this new toy for awhile. Sisters had given it to us. But we hadn't had a reason to use until now. Well hubby had some yummy "Elk Sausage Rolls". So he wanted to seal-a-meal them.
We went to dinner on Friday evening as we were both poohed from the work week.

I had ordered a cup of hot tea to unwind and relax. He was so excited he had to get on the phone right there and then and call my sisters and of course my mom to talk to them about how to use the seal-a-meal.
(Pet peeve of mine is people talking on cell phones at dinner tables.) Now that it is said, I had to sit there and listen as he got all of his information regarding his new seal-a-meal toy. He just couldn't wait until we got home.

He was excited about using his new toy, and he wanted the information now! And to share his joy and excitement of his "Elk Sausage".
You can see he is very tried in this picture. There is joy there even if it isn't reflected in the picture. You should have heard his voice. Just like a little boy!
We both were so tired that evening.
So out to dinner we go so we don't have to cook or clean.
You'd never know how tired he was expect I caught it in the picture at the dinner table. He was so excited about putting this sausage up tonight. That when he got home he hopped right onto the computer looking things up on the seal-a-meal as well.

Then off to play with the seal-a-meal kitchen gadget. He is like a little boy with a new toy.

I didn't get any pictures of that unfortunately. He said no flashes please. So I had to respect his wishes on that. But he was having so much fun. I think he was wishing he had more food to seal-a-meal. Maybe he will soon with fishing season. Fresh fish is always good.

                                                                            NIV
Matthew 18:2-4
He called a little child and had him stand among them. And said: "I tell you the truth unless you change and become like children. you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Do you have favorite kitchen gadgets?
